Zara tried to comfort Raven but had no luck. As soon as Dasker had left, Raven released the tears that had been burning inside her eyes. She put on the hoodie and sunk her face in between her legs, ignoring the pain that spread throughout her body. Eventually, she drifted off to sleep. She was exhausted by the events of the day and couldn't find the strength to fight against the drowsiness that flooded her. Not too long later, she was awoken by a thump. The room around her was dark, and silence plagued the house. She sat upright, looking around. Nothing. She slowly lifted herself off of the couch, tip-toeing towards the hallway. At the sight of Zara lying on the ground, unconscious, Raven's eyes grew wide and her heart began racing. "Don't worry, she's not dead." A voice echoed from behind. Raven jumped, turning to see the malicious face she had run into not long ago standing in front of her. Matt. As he stepped closer to her, Raven took a step back. She kept backing up as he approached her until her back finally hit a wall. "Oh, sweet Raven." He smiled, an evil look in his eyes as he showed off his fangs, "You and I are going to have so much fun." Before she could even comprehend what was happening, all went black. She woke up in what looked to be a large, empty warehouse, and it took some time for her eyes to adjust to the darkness. She tried to move, but her arms and legs were restrained by ropes tied around a chair. She struggled, trying to free herself. "Now, Raven, if you continue this foolery you're going to end up hurting yourself, and I'm afraid that's my job. So, please, have some decency and stop it." Raven could hear his footsteps approaching, and his voice became clearer. "Why are you doing this!?" She shouted, hoping someone would hear her. The man's face leaned closer to hers, stopping only an inch away. "Because, Sweet Raven, I didn't appreciate the wooden stake you drove through my chest." His tone grew menacing. "Speaking of, you should really work on your aim if you want to stake me through the heart. You have less accuracy than a guy peeing while standing." He laughed at his own joke. Before he could move away, Raven swung her head forward, hitting the man's head with her own and making him stumble back in pain. Her own head also stung. "f**k!" He grabbed his head with his hands. "Feisty now, are we?" He laughed, stepping back towards her. He swung his hand towards her face, slapping her cheek so hard that the noise echoed throughout the warehouse. The impact left a red mark on her cheek. "Don't try picking fights you won't win." "f**k you." Raven shouted, "You're nothing but a coward." She spit in his direction. Once again, he swung his hand to her face, his fist meeting her eye. Raven's head jolted back, the pain searing from her eye pulsed. "Look who's talking." He laughed. As he approached her, Raven noticed a syringe in his hand. The thought of him injecting her with a poison or drug frightened her, so she struggled ferociously, trying to escape the ropes. As he inched closer, Raven began shouting. "No! Get away from me!" He grabbed her neck with a strong hold and stabbed the needle into her, injecting the liquid into her bloodstream. Raven felt drowsy, and the more she fought the effects, the quicker they overwhelmed her. It must've been at least an hour when she finally woke up and adjusted her eyes. In front of her sat her abuser and kidnapper, smiling eerily. Without saying a word, he inched closer to her, grabbing her neck so she couldn't move it. "I've been waiting for you to wake up," he whispered into her ear before untying her. She tried to run, but only a couple of feet into her escape, she started staggering and fell down. "What did you do?!" Raven hissed, trying to pull herself up. He grabbed her arm, forcing her onto her feet before swinging his fist to her chest, hitting her where it hurt. She cried in pain, covering her breast with her arms. He swung at her again, this time his fist landing on her cheek. She collapsed onto the ground in pain. "I'm giving you a fighting chance. Get up." He laughed sinisterly. While Raven tried to pull herself up, he swept his leg across hers, making her pummel to the ground again. "Not so tough now, huh?" He grabbed her arms and forced her up again, this time pushing her back down onto the chair and tying her up again. "That was just sad, Raven. I expected more from a lycaon descendant." He scoffed. Lycaon descendant? Raven was confused, but the pain of her injuries overwhelmed her, distracting her from his words. She felt tears stream down her face, the moisture falling down to the concrete below her. Everything slowly faded into blackness. When she woke up, Raven could feel his breath on her neck which made her stiffen up in disgust. "Get the hell away from me, you asshole!" She shouted, and as she tried to move her neck, she realized it was being held in place by his hands. He leaned his head into her neck, inhaling her scent. Raven struggled with the ropes, trying to move him away, but to no avail. As he dug his nose into her neck, he flung out his tongue, dragging it along her skin. Raven started struggling even more, and she felt like she was going to throw up. "Get away!" Suddenly, a loud growl echoed throughout the warehouse, and Raven immediately recognized it. Dasker! Matt released his hold on Raven and looked up to see Dasker quickly treading towards them, his fangs and claws extended. "Get the f**k away from her!" He commanded, his voice deeper and louder than ever before. As Dasker's eyes hovered over Raven, he saw the numerous bruises covering her face, along with an ocean of tears. Dry blood stuck to her skin, and fresh blood trailed down. At the sight of her, Dasker lost control. His fury amplified, and his hybrid self completely took over. No longer was he thinking. Instead, he focused on his needs; his need for Raven to be in his arms, safe, and his need for blood. At the sight of Dasker, a sense of relief flooded over her, but that quickly receded once Matt reached for a gun, aiming its nozzle at Raven's head. "Don't come closer, or I swear, I will blow her f*****g head off." He threatened. Dasker stopped. Raven was able to see his face closely now, which radiated his intense rage. "That's what I thought." Raven stared at him, and once his eyes met hers, she quickly shifted her eyes to the gun, hoping he would understand what she was trying to get him to do. When he didn't react, she did it again, and this time, he understood, giving her a slight nod. Matt inched his face to her cheek, keeping the gun aimed at her head. He flashed a malicious look to Dasker. "Does this anger you, wolf-boy?" He dragged his tongue across her cheek. Dasker let out a growl. The feeling made Raven sick, but she didn't focus on that. While Matt was distracted, Raven took the opportunity to swing her head to the side, hitting his head with her own, causing his gun-yielding hand to move away from her head. In that moment, Dasker pounced, running with his vampire speed to yank the gun away from Matt's hand. Once the gun was secured, Matt tried to run using his own vampire speed, but Dasker was already onto him. Across the warehouse from Raven, she heard a vicious snarl erupt as someone was dropped to the ground. A series of punching noises followed, along with the sound of someone being thrown around and other noises she couldn't comprehend. Matt's cries filled the room, but the sound of Dasker's growls didn't indicate mercy- they indicated hunger. After a couple of moments, a heart rolled down, leaving a river of blood, stopping only a couple of feet in front of her. Her eyes widened and she gasped at the sight. Once footsteps approached her, she slowly lifted her head up to see Dasker standing in front of her, rage still evident in his eyes. The edges of his mouth were covered in blood,, and his eyes shone a deeper red. He didn't seem to notice Raven at first, like he was in his own world. He licked his lips of the blood thirstily. Once he looked up, his eyes swirled a hazel brown at the sight of Raven. He untied her from the chair and placed his hands on her hips, pulling her into a tight embrace. He dug his face into her neck, breathing in her scent. Raven hesitantly pulled away, her eyes stuck on the heart only a couple of feet away. Her breathing was shaky, and she backed away from Dasker. "W-what... " She looked up into his eyes, "what did you do, Dasker?" He didn't try to hide his displeasure at Raven pulling away from his embrace as he glared at her. He stepped closer to Raven, a look of concern riding in his swirling, brown eyes. He gently caressed her cheek before swooping her up, bridal style, in his arms. Raven was taken aback, but said nothing as she slowly wrapped her arms around his neck. He carried her out of the warehouse, into the bright daylight. Raven's eyes squinted as they adjusted. "I'll kill anyone who lays a finger on you."
