Mrs. Johnson was overwhelmed by the condition she met Aviva. Her face had been eaten like a horse with rage. Aviva was brought to the hospital by some ladies who saw her beside a bushy area. The act was executed around 6:00GMT. Mike told her there was something urgent that they should meet for or else she wouldn't have left the school hostel. Even after the act was executed on him in the bush, it was Mike who hauled her to a flank where she could be seen and helped. He thought if she was left there she might gave up the ghost. He initially thought of taking her to the hospital but he thinks he might get himself into trouble and his friends were against it even taking her to an open area but he still did. It was some ladies who saw her that rushed her to the hospital. They initially wanted to take him to the University's hospital but Aviva demanded she should be taken to a hospital outskirt the school. Even Mrs. Johnson was stymied when she heard that she was in Henry Ford Kingswood hospital. She was initially heading to the University hospital before she phoned. Aviva could speak even if she couldn't do audibly.
"Please, visit the chief physician before taking your leave", said one of the nurses.
"Sure, I will do!", Mrs. Johnson retorted.
Mrs. Johnson waved her hand in insignia to the nurse. Though at the moment she seemed to be carried away by thoughts running through her psyche before the nurse opened the door. She looked at Aviva and had the reminisce of her parents. How to compose and reserve they were, she had virtually all the traits of her parents. Even to the extent that she decided to call an end to the investigation of her parent's death. It was rumoured that her parent were set up by some unscrupulous politicians who tried to find their way through her parents' conscience in carrying out an unwanted act at their institution, they turned down the politicians' request, and their death was staged. Though Aviva had proofs, calls and texts of threats her parents received before their death, she decided to keep it away from the public. She preferred doing her things confidentially which Mrs. Johnson knew her mother for. The picture of all the politicians had become a personal property to Aviva that she did take along irrespective of where she was going. She did look at all the pictures almost every day since the death of her parents.
"I think I will still be around but let me check on the chief physician first", said Mrs. Johnson.
She stood up forthwith and headed towards the exit. Aviva looked at her by raising her head up a little. What she told Mrs. Johnson was still running through her psyche because she knew the chief physician would want to make a move regarding the investigation into what happened to her. She felt like standing up from the bed and go to the chief physician herself. Though Mrs. Johnson had compromised that she wouldn't make any move since she had objected to it. She didn't know the chief physician's office but she was looking at the tag at the extreme of all the office entrance. Mrs. Johnson knew she was getting closer when she began to see the tags of other top officials of the hospital.
"Good Morning! Chief physician", she said.
"Oh! Good morning Mrs. Johnson, you can have your sit, I am glad to have you here", replied the chief physician and used his hand to indicate for her to sit.
When the doctor saw her she discerned who she was forthwith. It was apparent for someone working at globe medium. Even when Mrs. Johnson entered the hospital all eyes had been on her. They wanted to give her preferential treatment but she insisted on her normal life. Though she wasn't comfortable by the way she was being regaled, she expected to be treated like everyone else. She seemed worried when she entered the chief physician's office. But had to discuss with him the complication of Aviva's condition. She was assured that she would be alright. Though she learnt that the chief physician had begun to take steps on the occurrence but Mrs. Johnson had to act upon Aviva's request. Mrs. Johnson tried to convince the chief physician that she would take care of everything and fortunately the chief physician yielded. And for the fact that she was a global journalist, the doctor was convinced.
"When will she be discharged?", asked Mrs. Johnson.
"Probably tomorrow because I knew you will have to return to Atlanta if I am right", replied the Doctor.
"Absolutely spot on Mr", she said while thumbing at her and chuckled.
She was muted for a second. She was thinking about where she could dwell overnight because she wanted to take Aviva along with her to Atlanta. She picked her bag and she shook hand with the chief physician. She went straight to the exit. And went to Aviva's ward. Forthwith Aviva saw her the first thing she asked was about their last discussion and Mrs. Johnson ameliorated her tchotchke that everything had been taken care of.
Mrs. Johnson picked her phone. She was muted for a while. Aviva marvelled at what she might be doing. She was checking for the nearest inn where she could lodge overnight. When she got one. She cheered her eyes. Aviva looked at her, she felt like asking but she wasn't interested even though she was curious. She also ordered for a taxi that would come to take her to the inn, after she was done with everything, she broke the silence.
"You will be discharged tomorrow and I have gotten an inn where I would stay overnight, we will be heading back to Atlanta, so do well to sleep and eat adequately", said Mrs. Johnson.
Despite the fact that Aviva had an objection to some of her utterance, she decided to keep mute and nodded her head in agreement with what Mrs. Johnson uttered. The presence of Mrs. Johnson in her life hadn't made her feel the absence of her parents that much, but she still felt disappointed. The same year her parents died, it was also that same year she was r***d. She was having the reminisce of everything that had happened to her. All the occurrence hit her head like an amnesiac, she couldn't do better than to close her eyes and put her two hands in her ear. Mrs. Johnson noticed as she was preparing to go. She asked her what was wrong but she insisted to be alright. Mrs. Johnson bidded her goodbye at exactly 5:00GMT.
