The walk to the palace was as quiet as I had predicted it would be. Side by side, we walked through the darkness, not knowing what we should be expecting exactly. I on the other hand payed close attention to all the signs around me; a man with whom I share feelings I do not share with another, a prince whose people has persecuted me all my life, my bestfriend that has always been by my side, never for once complaining that I somehow dragged her into this life,and a stranger whose words I’m clinging on to retrieve a moonstone. In terms of perfection, my accolades did their best. But as we walked, I couldn’t help but wonder if I would be loosing someone else today.
I didn’t know much about the captain and his crew but they were good people. Somehow, they got involved with me and their lives
