Chapter 7
Alejandro had deliberately not taken the booking for Thursday when the job came through because he knew he couldn’t take three nights straight on the club scene. Now he was just glad that he was getting a night in San Francisco with Mal. Most of Wednesday had been lost when they’d both slept in until well past noon, then the show in the evening. When Alejandro had woken up Thursday morning, Mal was already gone, off to the job he’d booked in order to make it a working trip.
