I was returning after closing the deal for my company, which I had run here in Italy. My father's company, but soon to be mine. But when I stepped into the house, I heard Atlas's cries from the living room. I followed that voice and found Kiara trying to pull Atlas to her, but he was pushing her away, screaming and crying.
"What the hell is going on over here?" I shouted, making Kiara flinch, and Atlas calmed down instantly and came running to me. He threw his arms around me and cried. I picked him up in my arms and looked over at Kiara, who stood uncomfortably.
"Cassandra, oh my God! You scared me." Kiara gasped, placing her hand on her chest.
"What were you doing to him?" I demanded with an arched brow, making her look at me, shocked.
