/Hannah POV/ I got up early in the morning on Friday as I was able to sleep quite early, I decided to call it in sick so as to clear my head, I really need that if I want to enjoy my visit to my parents. I went out for a long run, something I hadn’t been able to do in a very long time, long nights at the office or even on field. I had my favourite song blasting from my ear pod on repeat as I go round the neighborhood. On getting back from the run, I went straight for a hot bath, a kind I haven’t had in a long time, I took time to scrub my body thoroughly and as I stepped out my pile of laundry steered at me and immediately I decided to do the laundry. I jumped into a baggy trouser and a sport bra to hold firm my 32c boobs, parked my hair to a pony tail and go about my laundry business. Selecting and separating the bright colored ones from the dark ones, making sure the ones with the tendency to shed color are the last set to go into the washing machine. Just in about an hour, I was done with the laundry, I checked the time and it was just about fifteen minutes to noon, I decided to go out to microwave the left over from last night’s pizza, I had that strong will to wash dishes immediately as I use, I didn’t waste time on the meal. And immediately I decided to go get groceries and other stocks and necessities in the hand. That day I was all head in making my life just about me and not trying to be the DEA agent my dad dream to have from his kid to make him happy, nor was I trying to solve a case to impress Douglas or to get his accolades not even to prove to Sam that I actually deserve the badge and didn’t get it just because of my father’s influential position in the agency.  I went in to get dressed and after a long time, I decided to dress like a lady, my sense of dressing has always tilted to the male gender since my teen days. I got into a nice pink lap length dress, with a tight arctic blue leggings that’s just little below the knee. I left my hair to fall, I was never the makeup fan, so I didn’t wear any, I went to the drawer and wore a dangling earing dad got me some years back, I can count the number of times have worn it on one hand and still have fingers left. I decided to go out with my car today also, I need to fill the petrol and also take it for a little wash for tonight’s trip to my parents. I got to the garage at the top of the building and a press on the key made me easily locate my car. And just five minutes on the road, I was at the mart. I didn’t stress much, as I breezed through the mart, grabbing supplies I have noticed I am out of, toiletries, sugar, eggs, bread, instant noodles, fresh vegetable and a whole lot of cereals, I mean, that’s what my diet consist of mostly whenever I’m eating at home. And in seconds, I was leaving the mart with four bags in my hand, a Latino man in his thirties approached me and offered to help with the luggage I was finding a little bit uncomfortable carrying, thank goodness I was wearing a simple flat slippers, my physical posture wouldn’t have been really attractive. “Hello miss” the young Latino man had said as he approaching me trying to pocket his car keys, he was wearing a khaki short, with a flower patterned shirt which he buttoned half way with exposing his, bare hairy chest. “If he wore a hat, he would look like someone on a holiday in the Bahamas or the Caribbean” I sarcastically mentioned in my thoughts and smiled at him. “May I please assist the gorgeous lady with her luggage?” he asked as he stretched out his hands to collect my bags, not even giving me a chance to respond to either his greeting nor is request to assist me. Well, today I’m trying to be a lady, and a lady sure needs such helps. As we moved towards the car with him by my side acting all gentlemanly as possible, he began the expected conversation. “My name is Andy, I live just two streets away” he introduced himself nicely and in a very calm manner. “Hello Andy” I try to be as polite as possible even as I try to discourage him from going further with the discussion. “I’m a regularly patronize this mart, but senorita, have never seen you around” he mentioned in his funny Spanish accent. “Well Andy, no matter how many times you visit a mart at the heart of a very big community like this one we in, you don’t get to see or know everyone who patronizes the mart” “Yes, I agree with you, but mademoiselle...” “Really!!!” I cut him short. “Is my single status that obvious? I questioned him with brows furrowed. “No my lady, that’s not what I meant” he said trying to vindicate himself. But for me, he just blow up himself to confirm to me he’s a Casanova with the mention of the third flirtatious word in less than a minute. “So what do you mean Andy?” I questioned him again as I opened my car trunk for him to drop my bags for me. As he was going about arranging it properly, it gave me the opportunity of not letting him have a chance to give me a respond to my question. “I guess you mean, I look very young to have gotten married but old enough to warm your bed” I fired at him coldly with an ironical smile on my face. “Not so pretty…” he tried to explain, but I just had to cut him short again. “And there he goes again, with another unsolicited sweet names” I snapped out as I bang the trunk shut. “Well, what do you want me to call you? I told you mine and you didn’t say yours” he protested with his both hands stretched out in confusion. “Well, I can’t remember you asking, and I didn’t ask for yours, you told me willingly” I countered his protest. “Really!!!” He exclaimed out of confusion. “Are you serious right now” he added, I nodded as I walked towards the driver side of the car. “So what’s your name then?” “Don’t worry about that Andy, you might never see me in the mall again as I don’t live around here” I got into the car and shut the door. I rolled down the glass, stretched out my head to see him still standing at the back of the car where I was formally standing. “Thank you Andy, I really appreciate your assistance with my bags, that was very nice of you” gave him a wave and I kicked start the car and zoomed off. While driving to the gas station where I will also get a car was, I began to wonder why I didn’t give the young man a chance at me. I mean, I wasn’t at all engaged, and moreover, I wanted to be a girl today, I wanted to have that lady feeling today. But nah, I just didn’t flow with that flirt. Very soon, my thoughts began to drift to hoe that evening was going to turn out, and my imaginations were limited. Of course, if it isn’t my brother Hazel and my father falling into a heated disagreement, that will in Hazel leaving dinner earlier than expected, then it will be mom, chatting all night long about other people’s kids and how successful they’ve all become in there different works of life.  I began to wonder which of this scenarios I would rather have in tonight’s dinner. One way or the other, I know I was going in for a long boring night, and I still couldn’t get why I actually decided to say yes to going, maybe that’s the reason why I didn’t mention to anyone of my parents that I was actually going to come. In the main time have got my new found vibes to feel and act more girlish to enjoy. After a quick stop for fuel and the car wash, I got home and had a bowl of cereal, and I started getting ready for the night, then I got a call and a quick glance at the phone, I saw the three letter word, “MOM” I already know she was just trying to confirm if I was still coming home for dinner. “Hello mom, Yes I will be coming” was all I needed to say and cut the call so as to avoid long narratives with her.
