Dangerous Entanglement

episode 19

 /KELVIN’S POV/

I got to Miami a little bit late than I have wanted, but I still able to meet up to be there at the club just on time when the club was at it’s prime time for that beautiful Tuesday. The club was already rocking and the dance floor was already full with the estimated number of people you will expect for a weekday. I Loren had a bit of pleasantries and I was about to make my to the back when Loren called back my attention with full enthusiasm.

“Hey boss...” he called out hurrying towards my direction still behind the counter.

“What’s up, what kept you so late” he asked anxiously and kept on looking towards the exit.

“I don’t get, is anything the problem?” I asked him rather surprised about why he felt I was late, I looked around at the exit to see what he is looking at.

“Oh boss, there is a problem or I would rather say, there is good news for you.” He winked at me and bit his lower lip with a fetish smile.

“Come on man, I am really tired and I am not up for games.” I cleared out to him as I try to make it seem like I was pissed about his behaviour.

“Well boss, I think you did so good she had to come back for more…” he mentioned with a very bright smile on his face while he bent his knee a little bit to demonstrate a horse ride drive.

“What are you saying…?” I asked for more clarity as to what he is referring to.

“And who the hell is she?” I followed immediately with another question.

“She is over there….” He said pointing at the door, I quickly turned around, and to my greatest amusement and surprised it was Hannah, at first I didn’t recognise she was the one but within seconds, I was able to recall not just who she is and her name, but the whole experience I had with her the kisses, the cuddling, her moans and soft talks incited by pleasure.

I tried to look away, because I wasn’t sure on what I wanted to do, but just as I was turning my face in Loren’s direction, I saw her wave her hand at me with a silent hi right from the exit, I wanted to ignore and pretend not seeing her but my hands was already in the air subconsciously waving back at her. I watched her through the crowed until she got to my front and just grabbed herself a stool at the bar counter.

“Hey, kelvin” she casually greeted.

“What’s up, you finally decided to show up in our club again” I said trying to build a conversation.

“Yeah, your club has the serenity it gave me last time that I really needed today again”. She responded still trying to maintain a casual atmosphere between us, she immediately gestured at Loren to come take her order.

“Same…” she said calmly.

“Same…?” I spontaneously stated and quickly followed with another question to make my enquiry clearer.

“Does that mean you’ve been here before now?” I asked trying to act surprised and show no reason for her to suspect that Loren had mentioned anything to me with regards to her.

“Yeah, I was here before, in fact I was already leaving the club.” She mentioned and then was interrupted by Loren serving her the requested glass of drink.

“Thank you…” she stylishly said in appreciation of his service.

“So why did you come back?” I asked, and it was after I uttered out the question that I realised it was a d**k move.

“Let’s just say I got to realised I haven’t gotten enough of the serenity immediately I got out.” She smartly responded.

“Huh, what did you expect her to say? That she came for the s*x again, come on man, that’s lame. Even If she was as dumb as those girls that throw themselves at Dexter back in school, are you as smart as Dexter to make her do that?” I thought to myself as I realised I was not yet good enough for what I was trying to do.

“Okay, let me try to get myself ready for the day, you know I just came back from a journey.” I mentioned to her trying to put an end to my flopped attempt to build a conversation with the pretty lady before me.

“Oh yeah, that’s great, she said and went back to her drink.

I didn’t wait to try another attempt, I looked towards Loren and I could see the disappointment I his eyes as he shacked his head in frustration. I just walked and disappeared to the back through the door.

/HANNAH’S POV/

Immediately I stepped back into the club, straight through the crowed, I sighted Kelvin, and as nature will have it, we coincidentally had our gaze locked on each other for a second and I immediately had the urge to say hi, so I raised my hand and casually waved at him with the word Hi silently escaping through my lips. He immediately waved back with so much uncertainty on his face, I began to wonder if her was not really sure of who I was.

I walked through the dancing crowed trying to maintain the edges so as to avoid much collision. All through my steps to the bar, I felt  his  eyes on me and I won’t lie, I kind of enjoyed the gaze and as it clearly showed he now recognises me and also remembered what we shared some days back.

Immediately I got myself positioned on a stool on the bar counter, I try as much as possible not to be foolish to be outward with him, thereby not making my intentions and interest obvious to him. He tried as much as possible to cook up conversations with me, but I was still trying to play a bit casual with him. 

“Does that mean you’ve been here before now?” he asked immediately he heard me ordering with the word “same” and before I could really think on what to say I responded absent minded.

 “Yeah, I was here before, in fact I was already leaving the club.” Immediately I said that, I realised the situation I have put myself as I can actually guess what his next question will be. Of course he is going to ask me why I came back, and then, what will I say to him.

“Oh I came back beck because I saw you alighting from the cab and since I actually wished we could end up having and other love making session, I decided to come back so you could take me on to you warm bed” I thought to in my head as I went on to scold myself.

“So why did you come back?” and yes, without any doubt he asked the dreaded question.

“Come on Hannah, you are the one with a badge here, putting people in situations where they say exactly what you want them to say is you job, you not supposed to be falling into such traps. Ha, no wonder you still not have any case in your grasp”.

“Let’s just say I got to realized I haven’t gotten enough of the serenity immediately I got out.” I managed to escape through with that.

So from then on, I decided I will try saying nothing again, except I am asked. He said something about his journey but I wasn’t ready to ask him anything about that, trying to avoid saying too much.  I wasn’t really listening to what he was saying again and in the next minute, he disappeared through the door. I sat there waiting for about twenty minutes before he finally came out, and he didn’t even say much to me, he just gave made some acknowledging gestures towards the stairs and went up towards the VIP section, after a little while I saw him standing and watching from the balcony.

All my stay at the bar, I made sure I didn’t have any alcoholic drink, I kept watching and I saw my chance going down the drain, he wasn’t going to make any move, just like the last time. I decided to take the bull on the horn. After all, he already tried to make moves, I was the one trying to play hard to get. I ordered for another glass of drink got up and headed towards the stairs, I still wasn’t sure of what I wanted to do, I just know deep in me that getting to him and devising a way for us to get together for the night was what I crave for at the moment.

/KELVIN’S POV/

I got to the back and went straight to relieve myself off the luggage and also some of the clothing I had on, I went to the bath to relive myself, the need to come  back here is something I would not want to happen for the rest of the night. I was confused on what to do about Hannah, of course I want her, and it is pretty much obvious that she also wants me. The issue I have is how to go about wooing her into the act, all this is not entirely new to me, mostly I know what to do and how to actually do but the problem I always have in scenarios like that is that I always lack the courage to go about it.

Sitting on the chair, I knew I had to have a strategy on how to get her, because immediately I saw her that night I felt some tings between my legs and I had craves for a lady. I remembered Dexter ones saying sometimes you just need to show women you don’t really need them even if you do.

“You see women likes guys with confidence, ohhhh they love confidence in a man so so much, so if you can’t gather the courage to approach a lady for what so ever reason at any time, just be confidence in doing whatever you are doing in her presence” I remember Dexter saying.

And there I decided I will go back to the club and act as casual as possible with her, o giving her attention except if she really demanded for it without any obliviousness either through her actions  or verbally. After all, I had to get back there and do my work. Immediately I barged into the club area from the door behind the bar, Hannah was the first person I noticed as I couldn’t help but quench my curiosity to know if she had left or was still around. I wasn’t surprised to see that our gaze met for the second time in that night due to the fact that she was also actually waiting for me.

I only gestured at her to acknowledge her presence and moved on to the VIP section, I got there, checked around for the satisfaction of our clients, I made sure I was satisfied with what I saw before heading to start at my favourite spot since the beginning of my active managerial actions, the balcony where I can see the whole club with ease.

The view was nice and the party was buzzing, while enjoying the rhythm and my head was subconsciously nodding, I make sure to restrain my eyes from looking towards Hannah’s direction just to avoid and gaze lock with her again. Within minutes of standing there, I saw here ordering for another drink and she got up walking away from the bar counter, I wasn’t sure what she was trying to do, but I so wish my place was where she was coming to.
