/HANNAH’S POV/ I woke up minutes later, I wasn’t really unconscious, I was having glimpse of what was happening around, I could the discussions between the men, but was just too weak to give any response to what was happening in the environment. When I finally came to my senses and became sober, I heard of the guy saying… “s**t man, I don’t think this n****r has anything useful to us, it’s obvious he knows nothing about Dexter’s business…” No doubt they’ve been questioning kelvin and from what this guy is saying, he knows nothing about Dexter and his criminal life. Wow, that’s a bit relieving, all I need to do was to find a way to manage both my job and my relationship. ‘Kelvin will understand on the long run, and not let his friends criminal life and my job affect our relationship.’ I
