Chapter 3
*Bound in silence*
“Having fun?” A familiar voice sneered
Sophia whirled around to see Jake, an ugly smirk on his face. “What the f**k are you doing here?” she snapped, shoving him away.
“Could ask you the same thing,” Jake said, eyes raking over her dress. “Though I can’t say I’m surprised. Guess you didn’t learn your lesson.”
“I have nothing to say to you,” Sophia spat, trying to push past him. Jake grabbed her arm, yanking her against him.
“Come on, don’t be like that,” he purred in her ear. “We had fun, didn’t we? Why not have a little more?”
Sophia wrenched herself free, disgust churning in her stomach. “Leave me the f**k alone. I’m not one of your whores.”
Jake’s face darkened. “You were more than willing before. Don’t pretend you’re some innocent virgin now.”
“Just get away from me!” Sophia yelled, drawing stares from nearby people. She fled to the bathroom, locking herself in a stall and taking deep breaths. She couldn’t let Jake get to her. She was moving on, and he was her past.
She splashed water on her face and reapplied her lipstick, determined to enjoy the rest of her night. When she exited the stall, Jake was waiting for her, leaning against the wall with a predatory gleam in his eyes.
“Oh, come on,” Sophia said tiredly. “Not here. Not now.”
“Why not?” Jake growled, advancing on her. “You think you’re too good for me now? After you spread your legs for me so easily?”
Sophia tried to dart past him, but he grabbed her, shoving her against the wall and pinning her there. “Get off me!” she hissed, struggling against his hold.
“Say please,” Jake taunted, grinding his erection against her.
“f**k you!” Sophia spat, kneeing him in the groin. Jake grunted in pain, doubling over. Sophia took the opportunity to run, fleeing the club and calling a cab.
She spent the ride home shaking, anger and fear warring inside her. How dare Jake treat her like that? After everything he had done, he had no right to judge her or harass her. She was going to stay as far away from him as possible.
But she should have known it wouldn’t be that easy. The next day, Sophia got a call from an unknown number. “Hello?” she answered cautiously.
“Sophia,” Jake’s voice purred. “We need to talk.”
“I have nothing to say to you,” Sophia said flatly. “Leave me alone.”
“Now, now, is that any way to talk to your sister’s fiancé?” Jake chuckled darkly.
Sophia’s blood ran cold. “What did you say?”
“You heard me. Kelly and I are engaged. And I think she might like to know about that little secret you’ve been keeping from her.”
“You bastard,” Sophia whispered hoarsely. “You can’t do this to me.”
“Watch me. Unless…” Jake trailed off meaningfully. “Unless you come over right now and apologize to me properly. On your knees.”
Rage and despair flooded Sophia. She wanted nothing more than to tell Jake to go f**k himself. But the thought of Kelly finding out, of losing her sister forever… She couldn’t bear it.
“Fine,” she said quietly. “I’ll be there in ten minutes.” She hung up, tears prickling her eyes. She had thought she was moving on from this nightmare, but Jake was determined to keep her trapped in it forever.
She drove to Jake and Kelly’s place on autopilot, a sick feeling in her stomach. Jake answered the door with a smirk, yanking her inside. “Right on time,” he said, backing her against the wall and kissing her roughly.
Sophia stood rigidly, tears sliding down her face as Jake’s hands roamed her body. She felt dead inside, hollowed out and used. This wasn’t pleasure anymore, it was just… nothing. Empty.
Jake broke the kiss, licking his lips. “That’s more like it,” he said smugly. “Maybe you’re not a complete waste of space after all.” He ground against her, hardening. “Now get on your knees like a good girl.”
Sophia sank to the floor, numbly unzipping Jake’s pants and taking him into her mouth. She bobbed her head mechanically, tears still falling as Jake groaned above her. She felt like she was outside her body, watching herself betray everything she cared about. She was just going through the motions, a puppet on Jake’s strings.
After a few minutes, Jake pushed her away, leaving her gasping on the floor. “Pathetic,” he spat, tucking himself back into his pants. “You’re even worse at sucking d**k than Kelly. No wonder you have to throw yourself at other guys.”
Sophia flinched, humiliation heating her face. She stood shakily, wiping her mouth. “Are we done here?” she asked coldly.
“For now,” Jake said, a cruel smile twisting his lips. “But don’t think this is over. You’re mine now. And if you want to keep your precious sister, you’ll do exactly as I say.” He stepped closer, lowering his voice. “Or else.”
Sophia’s hands clenched into fists, but she nodded shortly. “Whatever you want,” she bit out, heading for the door. “I’ll see myself out.”
Jake’s laughter followed her as she fled to her car, feeling like the scum of the earth. She had sold her soul to the devil to protect Kelly, and now she was trapped in her own personal hell. She had no idea how she would escape this, or if she even could. All she knew was that her life had shattered, and she had no one to blame but herself.
