Chapter Two

The rest of the day went by quickly and with that the last bell for the day rings signalling the students the days suffering is over. I go to my locked and put away the books I don't need and take the two I need cause yes teachers gives homework on the first day.
We all decided to go grab something to eat later that day, I wait for Cassie at her car, she walks up and we leave for the dorm. I get my homework out at
my desk and start on that.
When I was done with my homework it was time to get ready cause had to be at MacDonald's at 6 apparently the guys ride skateboard and wanted to show off some of the trick before we eat.
We pull up at MacDonald's to see everyone is already there I look at the clock " Cassie are we late for something again " I asked her
" No Ash relax Ivan is alway a half hour early " She giggles
" Oh " I said relieved.
Somehow Cassie always has a way of making us late for everything, I teased he and said one she'll be late for her own funeral someday and she would just roll her eyes at me and giggle.
We went to go sit with with Clare at one of the tables and watched the guys skating.
Us girls where sitting and chatting girl stuff when heard the huge thumb on the floor we turn around and see Ivan fell his ass off when he almost went into Marcus with his Skateboard, all of us run to him to see if he's okay. I stand over and call his name " Ivan? Ivan??, are you okay Ivan??"
" Oh my Goddess am I in heaven cause you sure look like a pretty little angel " Ivan looks at me and puts his hand on my cheeks and pull my closer to his pouting lips, no no no this can be happening.
" Ivan for the love of Goddess could you please stop pretending we all had gotten a fright " Cassie scolded Ivan who started laughing
" Always spoiling the fun sis, but I am glad to see you care " Ivan winks at me and ruffles Cassie's hare, she swats his hand making me giggle.
Sometimes I wish I had an older brother looking out for me, teasing me and just be there for me and be my best friend like Ivan and Cassie.
I am an only child so I never knew what it will be like fighting with your siblings, standing with them and tease them. My parents could only afford to have one child cause of their financial issues after my dad lost his company many years ago he had to work for a boss with a salary and refused my mother to ever work. We weren't poor but I knew I couldn't alway get what I wanted but I had everything I needed.
' You have me now Ash and I will alway be here in matter what,I will stand with and will be inside of you' came the voice of my wolf Blaire.
' Thank B but it's not like I can actually fight with you it will be like fighting with myself ' Blaire laugh's and disappear back into the back of my mind.
" Earth to Ashley" Ivan shouts flicking his fingers infront of my face " To what planet did you just disappeared to, did you hear a word I said?? " He looks at me
" Sorry guys I tend to space out sometimes when I am think to hard and to much " I blush and rub the back of my neck. " What where you saying " I ask Ivan with a smile.
" Well we have a long weekend coming up and for once Cassie will also be going home so we where wondering if you wanted to come home with us?? " Ivan asked and everyone looked at me waiting for an answer.
" Come on it will be fun we Promise " Marcus incouraged me.
I was scared of people because I was bullied in school so it look longer than expected to answer, what if I get there and the same happens as at my pack what if someone there knows where I came from what I start bulling me to. No I can't I can't live thru that again. And as if Cassie senced my discomfort " We're not like the teenagers at your old pack Ash and no matter what I'll be right by your side all of us will be " she said with pleading eyes and a assuring smile.
' You know maybe it's time we move away from the past, nothing bad can come from this you know Cassie will be with us all the way and I trust her ' Blaire incouraging voice came into my mind ' I don't know B I'm scared of letting people close to me I don't know if I can trust everyone else ' I argued with my wolf ' but you can't always hide away now can you ' Blaire snaps at me and I know she has a point, I take a deep breath and blow it out look at my new found friends.
" Okay I will go with you, when do we leave? " I said with a nervous smile
" Hell yesss I promise you, you won't regret going with us " Cassie said exited and pull me in with a hug.
" I'll pick you guys up tomorrow after school we can go grab something to eat and then we hit the road " Marcus said looking at us smiling wide. Oh boy let's just hope this isn't a bad idea and hopefully maybe I could relax for once not having to look over my shoulder all the time and actually have some fun.
Me and Cassie leave MacDonalds and leave for our dorm. In the car me and Cassie sing with the radio and just chilling, Cassie turns down the radio and looks at me then back to the road " Thank you for coming with us Ash and thank you for trusting me, I promise you if anyone dares to touch you, insult you or even just look at you the wrong way I got you and the others will to. " she says with a serious voice " I haven't told anyone what happened to at you old pack they only know you where bullied " she said looking at the road and all I could was nod at her with a smile.
I'm really glad I was shipped to a boarding school and I am truly happy that I could meet some as d
genuine as Cassie she has changed a lot for me and the way I always saw life. She is more than my best friend to me she is like the sister I never had.
We pull up at dorm me and Cassie get out of the car and walk inside.
I took a shower, brushed my teeth pulled my hair into n messy bun and got into bed " Night night Cassie sleep tight " I said to Cassie and turn on my side " Night night Ash see you in the morning.
With that I drifted off to sleep feeling better about life and kind of exited about the upcoming weekend.
