As Emma and Ace walk in they found wounded bodies and A Ray and Lucas fighting. Emma went to take care of the wounded people while Ace went to stop the fight that Ray and Lucas are in.
"What the hell are you two doing?" asked Ace getting in between.
"Lucas got made at me for letting Emma see you while she is hurt." said Ray glaring at Lucas.
"And you let her go see the Demon King when she was hurt!" yelled Lucas.
Everyone in the room was quit. The people in the room couldn't believe what they heard. 'Did The Demon King really save us?' Emma just shook her head. Now everyone in this town knows that the Demon King is here. Once Lucas knew what he just did he looked at Ace. All Ace did was shrug his shoulders. He didn't care what they think of him. All that mattered was that Emma was by his side.
"Mister did you really save us? Even though your a Demon."
A little girl with a missing eye come up to Ace.
"I have no reason to hurt you." said Ace petting the young girls head.
"What doesn't make since is that a Demon protected us while the people who said the would protect us tried to kill us with no reason." said an elderly man.
The people in the room took awhile to take in what the elderly man said. A Demon had saved them. While a high mage tried to kill them. While another high mage is heal them.
"Miss? Why where you protecting us while the other Mages tried to kill us?" asked one woman.
Emma looked at Ace then back at the woman.
"I was never really one of them. You see I had a little haven for Demons that couldn't go back home. And to protect them I became a High Mage."
The woman just looked bewildered.
"Did they ever hurt you?"
"No, I never gave them a reason to."
"So what your saying is that Demons are not as bad as they seem?" asked another woman.
"Well you tell. A Demon just saved you while a high mage and his followers tried to kill you." said Lucas
They just looked at each other. 'They have a point' they thought.
One person tried to get closer to Emma , but Mystic got in the way, sitting between the man and Emma.
"I-is that fox yours?" asked the man.
Emma nodded. Mystic didn't move until the man backed off. Then mystic went to Emma and started to rub his head against her stomach. Ace and Emma didn't know what to make of Mystic's actions. Ray and Lucas were to busy trying to fight each other to see.
"IS that how you really look?" asked the little girl.
Ace completely forgot that he was wear the necklace Emma gave him. He took it off when he was fighting Elijah and Put it back on after the fight because it smelt like Emma. Ace looked at Emma. She shock her yes. Ace took of the necklace and everyone stared in awe. Some people even got up to touch Ace's hair. Once people saw that he wouldn't hurt them they all started to go to Ace. Asking him questions and touching his hair. Ace really didn't know what to do so all he did was stand still and looked at Emma for help. She just shrugged her shoulders.
"You guys must be hungry."
Lucas and Ace shared a look.
"Don't worry. We still have are food."
Emma and Ray nodded happily so the boys followed along. The people of the town started to get the food prepared, Emma tried to help but Mystic wouldn't get off her lap and when she tried to move him he got larger.
"Um....Ace can you help?"
Ace had seen the action of the fox and wonder whats wrong with him. But what made him more confused is that Emma was hungry. She could eat once a day and that would be it. and she ate this morning. Could she...... I man normally it would take awhile for a sign like that to show. But since Ace is a Demon maybe it would be quicker to show. Ace's eye started to sparkle.
"Ace?" asked Emma looking at him like he was crazy.
"Emma I need you to do something fro me."
