Noah swings me around the dance floor with ease and smiles down at me looking deeply into my eyes. After our dance, I find my way back to Noah who’s introducing Reneè to my friends, Charlie and Jared are standing by Nadia. He grin and stops mid sentence when he sees me walking up, I hold back from running into his arms. She twirls us around to the light music and we laugh as she loses her balance and falls taking us down with her. She lays there laughing when dad and Stephen come and stand over us. “Okay we’ll be taking this wild number home now.” Stephen laughs and picks her up bridal style. My mom wraps her arms around him and kisses his lips then leans her head back to kiss my dad. They say their goodbyes to me and head home.

“Your mom is too damn funny.” Charlie says shaking his head as Nadia and I walk back over. “She’s definitely something.” I laugh, we all have a few more drinks and dance as more people clear out.
