Mommy gets her mark

Tucker came back to Alpha Jones’ office and sat back down next to Ashlynn. He looked into her eyes and wanted to pull her into his embrace immediately. “Alpha Jones, you needed to talk to us?” Tucker asked “Yes firstly congratulations again, your daughter is wonderful. Secondly, Tucker, your daughter gave you a task to do. I hate to be here when a mark is given as it’s a very intimate occasion but I think in this case, it’s needed.” Alpha Jones simply stated.

“Yes Alpha I think you're right” Tucker stated turning to Ashlynn. “Ash I’m sorry but this is going to hurt. Addy please help ease this pain. Kayla I’m sorry to break my promise to you so soon if there was a way I could do this without hurting her, trust me I would. Ash let me know when you’re ready.” Ash didn’t say a word, just adjusted her shirt giving Tucker access to the spot he needed that would become her mark.

With a hurt look in his eyes he lowered his canines and pulled Ash closer to him. At first he kissed the spot where he was about to mark then with an “I’m sorry Ash please forgive me.” He bit into her marking spot. Instantly her shoulder burned and Tucker heard “I’m sorry daddy is that what you felt when I did it to you?” In his head. Tucker gasped and let go of Ashlynn before the mark was completed.

“Tucker what’s wrong, why did you stop?” Ash asked. “Hang on Ash I’ll tell you in a minute. Tucker said, his eyes clouding over. “Kayla was that you who just spoke to me?” He asked through the mind link. “It was daddy. I’m so sorry for that pain I caused you, but I needed you to have the strength of an Alpha. Is mommy a Luna yet?” Came the reply. “Not yet princess, you startled me so I let go too soon. Just hold on ok mommy’s gonna hurt for a minute but then she’ll relax and the pain will go away.” Tucker told his worried daughter.

“Ash I’m sorry, your mark isn’t complete yet. Kayla mind linked me and startled me.” Tucker told Ash looking straight into her eyes. “Wait, she can mind link now?” Alpha Jones asked, surprised. “She just figured it out, when the pain came from the initiation of Ahslynn’s mark. She told me she was sorry for the pain she caused when she gave me my mark.” Tucker replied honestly.

Alpha Jones had a dreamy look in his eyes that told Tucker to continue. “I’m so sorry Ash I didn’t mean to stop now the pain’s gonna be worse.” Tucker said worry etched on his face. Before he could back out Ash grabbed him, gave him a light kiss and told him “It’s ok do it and get it over with before we both back out.” Ash pulled her shirt back again. Tucker kissed her jaw then her shoulder drew his canines out and finished her mark.

The feeling of being marked hurt like hell, at first. It had three stages, first was pure fire running down my back and arms. Second was a warm tingly sensation. Third and lastly was complete euphoria. Now I see why everyone went through with marking their mates. I just wonder what me and Tucker are going to become now.

“Daddy, I need to speak with Luna and future Alpha.” Came the little voice inside Tucker's head. “Are you sure you have enough strength for this princess?” Came Tucker's reply. “I’ve got enough, just let them know ahead of time that I’m still little and it takes a lot of energy for me to talk.” “Will do princess.” Came Tucker's reply. Tucker turned towards Alpha Jones, Kayla would like to talk to Luna Zoe and future Alpha Brendon for a moment.” Alpha Jones nodded his head. Then his eyes clouded over for a slight second.

After a minute or two there was a knock on the door. “Come in.” Alpha Jones simply said. The door opened up and in walked Luna Zoe, and future Alpha Brendon. “My beautiful wife, how are you doing tonight?” He asked her pulling her in for a quick kiss and tight hug. “Father, you wanted to see us?” Future Alpha Brendon asked nervously.

“Yes son, as you know Ashlynn here is pregnant, correct.” “Yes, father but I can’t tell you who the father of her child is since she won’t tell anyone.” Came Brendon’s reply. “Ah I can answer that one for you, the child's father is sitting beside her mother. I’ve known about it since the day they found out, but we have something to discuss pertaining to this child.” Alpha Jones stated.

Looking stunned, Brendon looked at his best friend, “This is great news, man why didn’t you tell me? I would have been there for you.” “Thanks bro but my child is very special and we weren’t sure how to break the news so we decided to wait a little bit before telling anyone.” Tucker said honestly.

Alpha Jones pipped in, “speaking of this child being special. She has the ability to communicate with us through her mother, she asked to speak to you both.” “Before we let my daughter come out she asked me to let both of you know, it takes a lot of energy for her to do this. She’s came to us three times already today and her energy is fading. She needs to explain something to you both then save any questions you have for a couple of days. If it’s something that’s immediate I can mind link her and asking her for the answer.” Tucker said.

“Ash I hate to do this to you again but can you let her come forward one more time tonight?” Alpha Jones asked concern lacing his voice. “Yes Alpha I think I can if she’s got the strength.” Ash replied. “Baby Kayla, are you ready?” Alpha Jones asked, looking directly in Ashlynn’s eyes. As soon as he saw the golden flecks he asked Ashlynn ``Are you ready dear?” “Yes Alpha,” came her reply.

Soon as the words came out Ash felt the familiar sensation of baby Kayla taking her body over. “Alpha Jones, Luna Zoe and Future Alpha Brendon. Thank you for looking out for my mommy and daddy.” Came the tiny voice from Ashlynn’s mouth. “I asked you here to let you know I had to give my daddy an Alpha’s mark, so that in turn he could make mommy a Luna. I wanted to tell you your positions aren’t in jeopardy. I’m a very special child as you can tell. The moon goddess gave me a lot of power. My mommy and daddy are strong without these marks, but mommy wouldn’t be able to carry me without the power of a Luna. Future Alpha Brendon, as soon as I’m born my daddy will become the Alpha of this pack, since he’ll need the strength to protect me.

Brendon, the moon goddess, told me to give you a choice on whether you would like to keep the Alpha title and guide this pack with my daddy. Or whether you’d like to step down as Alpha and become his beta. You don’t have to answer now, but when I’m born your decision needs to be made. Luna I’m thankful for you taking my parent’s in without questions, there’s a long road ahead of us all. There’s people going to try to stop my birth. Please everyone in this room protect my mommy and daddy for me.” Baby Kayla said, trying to keep her grip. “I can see you slipping. I have just one question for you.” Luna Zoe stated. “Ask me but please hurry I need to rest.” Baby Kayla replied. “What do we call you little one?” Luna Zoe asked. “Mommy and Daddy named me Kayla Rose, Alpha Jones calls me little one, but my official title is Princess Selen. Please call me Kayla or little one though. I don’t want everyone knowing who I am before I grow up. Daddy I love you, and please tell mommy I love her. I must go now, my energy is gone.” Kayla stated before she let her mommy take back over. Tucker mind linked his daughter “I love you to princess.” hearing this Kayla smiled in her mommy’s womb then went to sleep.

As soon as I came back from baby Kayla’s control, I looked around the room to see everyone stunned. “What did my little one have to say this time?” I asked no one in particular. To my surprise it was Luna Zoe who spoke up. “Can you not hear what your daughter is telling everyone when she takes over?” She asked with a motherly tone. “I get bits and pieces but can’t fully hear everything that’s being said.” I replied.

Tucker grabbed my hand and looked straight into my eyes. “Ash, remember when our wolves told us the moon goddess gave us a special gift?” “Yes but we already knew Kayla was special. No other wolf can communicate like she can.” I said back, perplexed. “Ash, when they said special they meant extremely special, Kayla is actually the daughter of the moon goddess. That’s why we needed our marks, so that you have enough strength to carry her.” Tucker told her repeating his daughter's words to her mother.

“With this new information Tucker you’ll be with me training as an Alpha, Brendon since you’ve been training practically since birth for the role of Alpha I’m giving you and 5 others the task of protecting Ash and her baby while at school. Tucker I hate to take away your time from your mate but the role that’s now cast onto you is a hard one and takes a lot of training. Luna my love I will ask you to accompany Ash to collect any items she’s going to need for this little blessing. We all need to protect this little life as best as we can.” Alpha Jones stated. A chorus of “yes Alpha” came from everyone in the room. “Tucker I will give you tomorrow to go to school to fill your mate in with the new arrangements. I would advise you however not to tell her your child is the daughter of the moon goddess. Then Saturday we will start your training as an Alpha. “Yes Alpha.” Tucker said. Well it’s getting late, should we go eat dinner then say go out for ice cream to celebrate? Alpha Jones asked the group. “Yes Alpha” rang loudly, then everyone filed out of the room headed to the dinning hall.
