Dahlia stood still, wondering why he remained hidden. Although she couldn't see his face, she could feel the sadness in his eyes. She wanted to go up to him, but she had a feeling that crossing the threshold of trees would be a bad idea, so she simply stood, a few steps away, to watch him. Her heart ached to be nothing but a bystander, unable to do anything for the man that was standing there, lonely like he was the only one in this world. She could feel his soul, so quiet, so... sad.
