My Name is Arianna Marie Hendren, I am a rougue. Most people around here call us beach runners, my family and I have lived here since I was born. My dad passed away 4 years ago when I was 10 so its just me and Mom now.
I still have a baby face, I have amber eyes and dark silver hair. Not your average teenage girl you guessed it I am a Silver wolf we are very rare and only born once every century. I have special abilities as well I am able to use a forcefield to move things, I can peek into someone elses mind and hear and see what they do choosing weather or not to let them know I am there.I can control fire but My favorite is my smoke I can release a smoke that I can choose to be fatal or just make someone unconscious.
Mom: " Ari come help with groceries." I leave the kitchen where I am currently binging some chunky monkey Ice Cream and go grab groceries. Once I come back in my mom has a huge smile on her face.
" You will never believe what happened to me today."
Me: " You found a sale on chunky monkey?" I say this as I stare at four quarts of ice cream.
Mom: " I found my mate!!!" I look up at her in horror. My mom and dad never marked each other they loved each other but they wanted a chance to find their destined mates one day. When my dad found his she rejected him for her current husband and it killed him.
" He wants to meet you, him and his kids are coming over for dinner tonight."
Me: " Kids as in plural, and mom you don't even know this guy what happens when he rejects you?"
Mom: " He wouldn't do that Ari he didn't even mark his Luna hoping one day he would find me."
I still have a horrified look plastered on my face
" LUNA???"
" He is a f*cking Alpha mom are you insane!"
Mom: " He is a former Alpha his son Sebastian He is 19 he runs the pack now. He has a 12 year old Simon and a 14 year old today Stephan."
Me: " So not only do I have to meet these things but on my birthday who I apparently share with one of them."
Mom: " Stop being a brat Arianna this is happening."
Me: " I am not moving to a pack and nothing will change my mind."
Mom: " We will see about that young lady, help me put up these groceries and start dinner." I start putting up groceries and helping with dinner this is so not how I wanted to spend my birthday. A mate what is she thinking all the mate bond does for rogues is leave us hurt and broken in the end no one wants a outcast. Especially a former slave and her freak of a silver wolf daughter.
I am finishing up the salsa as my mom starts squealing.
" There here, there here." Yippee for me it is going to be a long night.
I walk into the living room as my mom opens the door throwing her arms around a man and kissing him.
" Eww" My mom shoots me a glare.
" You must be Arianna I am Joe." He out stretches his hand for me to shake it. Joe is about 6 foot tall with brown hair and brown eyes
I stare down at it
" Good for you"
Joe: " This is my son Simon, this is Stephan it is his birthday today two, and this is Sebastian."
I look at the three guys Simon is a skinny little thing with brown eyes and brown hair. Stephan is a little more built and pretty tall for our age with the same brown hair and brown eyes. Sebastian on the other hand is 6' 3" with black hair that is almost blue, deep emerald green eyes and muscles for days.( Your girl is crushing)
" Pleasure" I turn on my heels and walk away. Sitting on the couch.
Sebastian: " Well she seems sweet" he says with so much sarcasm, crush over he is officially a d**k waud. I flip him off over my shoulder.
" Charming"
Mom: ' Well dinner is ready, Stephan said Tacos where his favorite so that is what I made" Here I thought she made it because it was my favorite. But she aims to please I guess.
" It also happens to be Ari's favorite"
Simon: " So you go by Ari not Arianna?"
Me: " When I get called Arianna it means I am in trouble" We sit down to eat and they try to make small talk I pretty much avoid all the questions.
Stephan: " Ari why do you have Silver hair I have never seen someone with silver hair."
I shrug " Genetics"
Mom: " Ari is a silver wolf" everyone gasps and Sebastian chokes on his taco. Thanks for outing me mom really tell complete strangers my truth.
Me: " Easy there big boy don't die on a taco" I laugh as I look at Sebastian who gives me a go to hell look.
Joe: " Well that is amazing, you must be very proud" Mom smiles pecking him on the cheek. Gag
Me: " Yeah proud enough to out me to complete strangers. That are just going to reject her and go about their lives."
Mom: " Arianna Marie enough young lady."
Joe: " I don't plan on rejecting your mother Arianna. In fact I hope the exact opposite to mate her and spend a life with her."
Sebastian: " that brings up the next question, when would you two like to move to the pack?" And there it is.
Me: " How about never"
Mom: " Ari"
I stand up from my chair
" You want to mate with him and move to that stupid pack be my guest. I will move in with Callie I am not going to a damn pack."
Sebastian stands up,
" You are so stubborn, First off the Blood Crescents are not a stupid pack. Second we take pride in our pack unlike you, you petty little rogue. Lastly, you are a disrespectful twerp talking to your elders the way you are."
I push him against the wall and jump over the table.
" My elders? What you? first off I don't even know you Bastian and I don't care to. Also you have no idea who you are talking to so do yourself a favor and run back to your pack and leave me the hell alone." I walk off dropping my hold against him and going upstairs to my room.
SEBASTIAN POV
I came down to our vacation house for Stephan's birthday. I was told that my dad has found his destined mate and we are going to her house to meet her daughter for a birthday dinner because her and Stephan are the same age today. We get there and she is the sweetest woman I have ever met. But her daughter has a huge attitude problem. I can't help but admire her though she knows what she wants.
My mother died 4 years ago, we really are not sure what happened to her. She left for a self vacation and never came back this is the first time we have been here since she passed.
Stephan: " Well happy birthday, that went so well."
Simon: " I like her, she stands up to Bash like nothing."
Me: " Yeah, well the little s**t better count her blessings."
Dana: " It is dark outside do you guys want to go for a beach run. I am sure I can coax Ari out of her room with the offer."
Dad: " That sounds great hunny"
Me: " What about moving to the pack?"
Dad: " I will stay here you kids can go back or Simon and Stephan can stay with me it is entirely your choice. But you Alpha have a pack to run don't worry yourself about us."
Simon: " I'm staying with dad."
Stephan: " Ditto"
Dana and Arianna come down the stairs, Ari has a don't screw with me look on her face and I just give her an evil smile. You are in for a rude awakening little wolf and you have no idea it is coming.
We get to the beach and everyone starts shifting I just stand and watch as Arianna shifts into her wolf. Her clothes don't shred, and she is gorgeous a dark silver wolf with bright orange eyes. I smile and shift as she looks at me.
ARIANNA
I shift and everyone looks at me in awe except Bastian he is just smiling at me. He shifts and I am staring at the biggest wolf I have ever seen, and he is midnight blue. Blue and silver wolfs are the rarest color, not to mention mortal enemies. He walks up to me and nudges my snout with his and takes off running.
We sprint down the beach leaving everyone else in the dust. Once we are both out of breath we shift back.
Bastian: " You still being a royal pain in my ass?"
Me: " Depends you still being a entitled prick?"
Bastian:" Ha-ha Happy birthday brat."
