Suz just showed up with a guy who claimed to be the real Edmund Lewis. If we were to believe him, Enedina is dealing with more than she understands.
"A shapeshifter is a person or being with the ability to change their physical form at will," Jayden explained to Suz.
"So, the Edmund who's with Enedina is not actually Edmund," she seemed to understand.
"Yes, but why is Enedina acting out?" Jayden wondered.
"Maybe she's actually in love with Edmund but she doesn't know it isn't Edmund," I said.
It hurt to say her name. It hurts to say love and the name of some other guy with hers in the same sentence even more.
"Or maybe, it wasn't Enedina. It was the shapeshifter," Jayden said hopefully.
