Before they packed, everyone cleaned up and changed into clothes that didn’t look as if they’d been through a war—which they had been. Then Noah drove them back to the city. Noah had asked if the others had any objection to his wife joining them, which they didn’t, so he picked her up on the way, dropping Luc off at home since he said he had something he needed to do first.
