Unsurprisingly, in Galen’s opinion at least, what was left of Walker and Trace’s organization fell to pieces with both of them dead. The elven Lords dealt harshly with those of their kind who had aided and abetted Walker. Some of them, who felt that Walker had been right—that elves should be ruling the world—died in battles with the Lords. Others submitted and were suitably punished under elven law. Two of those confirmed what Galen and the others had suspected. Once the vampires were vanquished, Walker had intended to turn on Trace and the rest of the shifters who had sided with him, letting the humans know of their existence, as well.
