Extreme disturbance ahead, gory and brutal You have been warned. A sudden thunderstorm fell upon the town, roars of thunder hungrily swallow all the sounds in the night, Deadly flashes of lightning lights up even the darkest of corners as the screeches follow shortly after coloring the surroundings in a gray - bluish theme. All electrical systems shut down, not even a night light to distinct ones surrounding, Little Monica wraps every limb around her mothers waist burying her small head to shield her eyes away, whimpering from the scary sounds coming from the outside world. "It wasn't supposed to rain today" her mother looks beyond into the window as they sit on the couch, furrowing her brows in confusion to the random weather change. "It's supposed to be sunny all week". Monica and her mother remain on the couch where they sat previously to watch movies, with arms wrapped protectively around her daughters shoulders she looks around her unsettling dark home, chills run down her spine as she sat in the middle of the void darkest night with her and her daughter unable to even make out the silhouette of her own television. Decided she has looked enough she Shudders and digs her nose onto the top of Monica's head. With her face buried into her mothers left breast "Mommy I'm scared" came the shaky little voice muffled from the fabric she planted her face against, she feels her mother move giving her comfort and bravery to lift her head up, looking into the void. "It's ok honey I'm here" she feels her mothers warm breath on her forehead warming her up from the sudden decrease of temperature, just than a quick flash of lightning brightened up the room in time for Monica to see her mom smiling down upon her innocently with pure eyes, but in time for Monica to capture a large horned creature in all fours on the right side of her mothers head hanging upside down on the far wall. Dark eyes, wide mouth leaks a dark liquid while it smiles right down at her. With a scream she digs her head deep into the arms of her mother; crying, heart ready to leap out of her chest. Confused "It's only lightning honey" the mother jokes. "N-no Mommy behind you, it's a monster" the girl sobs shakily. The mothers head whips back question but with the pitch black she can't make a even a lamp, as she was ready to turn back to reassure her daughter, if the colors r black wasn't black enough she was able to catch a dark silhouette pass by in a flash. With a gasp she returned to holding her daughter once more protectively, "What's wrong mommy?" Monica questions when she feels the shivers that rattled her mothers bones, deciding to withhold hold the scary encounter "nothing honey, I'm just cold" she adds a shiver to sell her story, palming her sleeve. With the eerie silence and flashes of random light Both remain aware and alert for anything. Moments of silence pass and the temperature dropped significantly, the dread of being watched spread goosebumps across their skin while their breath hitches. They can feel it, there is a presence, a very evil presence. Something is hiding in the shadows, watching and lurking. But where. Suddenly a creaking sound was made upstairs, a new dread set its course within the mothers veins, Jackson. Terrified yet brave but with great hesitation she turned and eyes the stairs ten feet away, the growling of the thunder only intensified her fear that she can feel her gut being swallowed by. Feeling her mother's movement Monica knew what was in her mind. "I'm coming with you mommy" she says in one shaky breath. A lingering kiss to her forehead was her thank you and together they slowly crept one by one, like glue Monica attached her self to her mothers side being her second eyes for the places her mother can't see. Angry flashes of light beams brighter and brighter each second they close in on the stairs, almost like a warning. Once they reached the stairs Monica knew it was time to let go, sniffling she holds her moms palms tightly and secure ignoring all the scary shadows that appear and disappear after each flash. If only heeded the warning of the Universe, if only they turned back, both mother and daughter disappear up the steps, with a cue of lightning the old women with white hair steps out of the darkness, yellow cat eyes intense as she watched the woman and daughter make their way to the sacrificial room as planned. A smile tearing her cheeks until they connect to the back of her head before disappearing in the flash of lightning. Jackson's corpse lay flat lifelessly in the middle of what appears to be a pool of blood, both eyes scooped from their sockets and ripped off fingernails. Suddenly the corpse's ears picked up a voice, a voice of calm, collected and ... fear. "Jackson"? His mother calls out into the unknown. The racing of her heart beats ignited a hunger within the corpse but too weak to move. Rounding the corner Monica and her mother peek their heads into a darkness, Jackson's room. "Wait here" the mother says calmly laying a flat palm on her daughter's back who has her head peeked into the room with the rest of her body flatly resting on the wall, An uneasiness in her gut. Jackson never sleeps this early, with her luck he will finally go to bed at three in the morning with all the noise he makes across the room. Whimpering she cowered away wanting to hide her eyes from the unfamiliarity. A creaking sound catches her ears as she watched the door of her room slowly open until it was halfway way. There is someone or something inside, but who? With the little flash of lighting she could almost see white hair. "Jackson"? Her mothers soft voice pulls her back into reality, Monica remains watchful and aware watching every parts her mother can't see and all her blind spots. The mothers feet are slow and meticulous, her son would have answered her by now. A rapid heart beat is all the corpse can hear and a surge of fast blood is all he can smell, her fear is prominent making her weak and he strong. Just a little more, come closer. Snake tongue slithers to lick the corpse lips, unknowingly the mother steps forward three feet into her fate, just the perfect range, another creak and Monica turns her head to the sound on cue a large flash of lighting beams right into every window revealing the old women with white hair, Yellow eyes and a wide smile pooling blood, long nails scratch the floor as she is on all fours with her head turned upside down. A blood curdling squeal resounds throughout the house slicing away all the protective barriers of the mothers ear drums, with a sudden turn to her daughter who was running towards her the corpse now stands on two legs that resembles a goats hind legs; hairy and hooves. Monica who has noticed the action first -hand jolts back screaming louder as her bottom plants to the ground, palms slicing through the wood collecting at least a dozen splinters, her breath broken as she witnesses the large seven feet silhouette behind her mother. The mother gazes curiously before sensing an evil behind her and with reluctance she turns and comes face to face with a broad charcoal chest, leisurely bringing her head up to an inhumane level she is greeted with the face her son, eyes completely stripped of its home and a smile with rows of razor sharp canines. Before a scream could be ripped out of her a pain so sharp went right through her hip, a thick iron liquid oozes out of her mouth, she can feel her heart weakening, what has happened? And why can't she move? Her last thoughts as she furrowed her brows. A liquid pop falling bro the ground fills her ears as they rain has silenced on the outside, with one more muscle movement she can see it than, four inched black talons are dug into the small of her hip, piercing right through her kidney. With force the claws are ripped out allowing a river of blood to spill behind it, she watched as the creature slowly brings it up to its lips lapping away all of the blood from its talons. A shiver ran through the mothers spine as she witnessed the metamorphosis of the creature coming to life before her very eyes. Loud animalistic roars echo through the home stealing all audio from the mother, utter silence is what she has succumbed too, no sound nor noise, but can feel the blood trickling down the holes. Gums ripping and swelling too accommodate the large canines new home, tongue stitching together to hide the forked shape. Yellow reptilian eyes roll from the back of the head until the orbs face the mother, rapidly blinking until the vision clears, a familiar pit of eyes stare right back at her, Jackson. The face of her son stares back at her, but that wasn't enough, for she knew even though she stares at the vision, that is not Jackson. Before she could fully process the pain on her side and the imbalance due to blood loss a snapping sound rings in her ears followed by a draft of a missing arm, like a broken fire hydrant blood flies across the room painting the walls, she I frozen solid as she witnessed the monster lift up the limb with the still moving fingers, the teeth rip the the gums ripping away the porcelain flesh until it was nothing but bone, drinking away all the blood, with in a second the other arm is ripped away eating away her skins and tissues, why is she not dead? Monica watched in horror in the corner ad her mother is ripped limb from limb until her breasts were chomped off, she watches her brother eat away her mother's intestines like spaghetti slurping up all the sauce, she cannot move nor can she even breath. Her mothers blinking head frozen in fear, how has she not screamed? That must have been gut wrenchingly painful. With all the blood loss, her mother should have been dead. Tears fall like a fountain, she tries to hide her whimper, suddenly a thumping sound echoed in the hallway, something heavy is walking towards the room. Monica sees it than, the old woman that was here helping her brother, the old woman that gave her a doll ... the doctor? Like an animal she is on all fours, hind legs bent backwards completely naked with her head upside down. Like mind control, she pays no attention to the obvious little girl right in her line of vision as she heads towards the severed head. With great speed it launches herself at her mothers head blocking away all of Monica's vision. The young girl covers her ears from the crunching and slurping as she looks at both the monsters eating her mother, not paying her any mind. She is next if she remains, A quick glance at the door and back to the devils, she estimates her chances if she can run quick enough she will be free, where will she go? Where will she sleep? No other family she knows but she refuses to let it end this way. Hesitantly she stands, back pressed Saint the wall with tears pooling down fast, swallowing her cries to not make any sound. One by one she puts one leg after the other, a wooden cream of the board on the floor cause her heart to fall yet she remains still as the beast feasting on her mothers head paused and looked up, seconds go by and the creature returns to feasting. Giving the situation a few more seconds she begins her strides, all she needs to do now is round the corner and make it down to the stairs. Monica lifts up a leg but forgot to uncross them, one foot got caught between the other and the wall and Monica tumbled down on her belly with a squeal. Both demons heads twist without their bodies, the witch roared a screech so deafening with razor canines as its eyes roll to the back of its head, looking at death Monica screams back with the tears falling harder, her chest is ready to break from the excessive force of her small heart. The witch gives a stance ready to pounce and she caught a glimpse of her mother; skeletal remains and chewed tongue. In a flash the creature launched towards Monica, blood stained canines ready for tearing. A stride in Monica's steps and she somehow pushed her legs forward towards the steps fully dodging the creatures attack but fully regains her strength and flies towards Monica screeching and chanting demonic commands. Tiny legs race as fast as they can down the stairs with the very little light Monica has the odds are working against her. But is it really? Monica slams herself right into the door, the screeches become louder until the beast Come into view, not enough time to unlock instead Monica hides just in time for the beast to land on all fours right in front of the little table next to the door teeth biting into her arm to cover the whimpers and cries. She sees it Than, Hooves and hind legs with razor talons, the crackly sounds of its skin as it walks around the house sniffing And growling. The calm of its hooves that hits the ground gives away a strange feeling, it's as if it already sensed where she is and is just playing a little scare game. Monica swallows the bike in her throat seeing as its legs redirect until they are narrowed and pointed towards her hastily striding. Her life flashed before her eyes as the creature Slowly lowered its head Almost meeting eye to eye until there was a knock on the door. Someone was here? In horror Monica watched and heard the awful cracks and contortions of the creature until it was back on two legs again, like a human it makes its way to the door. With an old lady sultry voice and elegance " Yes dear, how can I help you?". Monica wanted to run out and save the owner of the voice, Mr. Robinson. The old man has been a Good Samaritan and an excellent friend to Monica's family, but the fear in Monica rendered her still. "Is-is everything alright? I heard screaming." He says questionably. The witch quickly changed the subject "goodness your soaking wet dear, oh do come in". "Have I seen you before? Where is the owner of the house?" The question that broke the ice and not before long Monica heard the screams and cries of the old man who's legs were lifted off the ground. The table She us under gives a blind spot and all she sees is blood spilling, bones breaking and ... the wide open door, not even giving it a chance to think, Monica launched herself out, slipping on wet tiles consistently until she made it out the door and into the empty streets not looking back. Unaware of the yellow eyes that watch her from the window. Running for what felt like hours Monica is confident enough and paused for a break, the weight of her heavy heart nearly caused her to pass out as she tried to catch her heavy breaths. No one she can call family and no where she can call home. Monica buried her head by the darkest corner of the trash can in an alley and cried and cried until she fell asleep.
