That old man seemed to be quite happy that Damon had finally found a mate, and when he politely asked me to take care of the eldest of the quads, I failed to say anything to him.
There is no way that I could lie to him when he was glancing at me with such a trusting gaze.
I walked towards the main door in a hurry as I could not face the old man. He might think that I am rude, but at least I didn't give him useless hope.
Before I could enter the main door, some people suddenly gathered around me. There were a few she-wolves, and even some of the guys had joined them. They were glaring at me for some reason.
