"We've really stepped in it with the Lynch family this time," Chandler sighed, worry etched on his face as he slumped on the couch.
"I have no idea how to fix this. I've tried to smooth things over, but they won’t even pick up the phone after hearing about this mess."
"Who would've thought Julia actually managed to hook up with Mr. Lynch?" Ethan grumbled, his voice heavy with frustration. "It's all her fault. If she hadn't gone after Luna, we wouldn't be in this situation."
Tears glistened in Luna’s eyes as she snuggled up next to Ethan, her voice soft and pleading. "I'm the one who brought trouble to the family. I've always known Julia doesn’t like me. From now on, I'll keep my distance and hope she doesn't target us anymore."
The family’s anger melted away as Luna’s words sank in.
