Chapter 40 Odin and Balder Meets with Helen.

575 Words
Odin was sitting in his command module making battle plans when his son Balder came in.  Odin spoke: -          Greetings, Balder. Have you heard anything from your siblings Frey and Freya yet? Balder: -          Yes, they are coming back soon. They have travelled around in our Zetan space shuttle, and have been able to contact all the other Zetan factions. Ra is bringing the Egyptian “gods”, Athena is bringing the Greek “gods”, Vishnu is bringing the Hindu “gods”, Buddha is bringing the Buddhist “gods” and is Tialoc is bringing the Aztec “gods.” Odin: -          Ah, the Aztec gods, I haven’t heard from them in over a millennium. Are they still excessively violent and blood-thirsty? Balder: -          Yes, so it would seem. Odin: -          Excellent, we can use their ferocity against the Xenos. Balder: -          Yes, there is another thing. Someone has sent a Zetan spy, masked as Helen of Troy to seduce and spy on our Martian ally, Melchior. Odin: -          Yes, I felt an unidentified presence in the camp. I suppose she was successful? The Helen of Troy DNA sequence is apparently irresistible to human males. Balder: -          Indeed, she was. They were copulating within ten minutes. Odin: -          Pfft. Not a very talented spy. She would gain a lot more withholding the s*x, driving Melchior insane with desire first. No matter, find her and summon her to me. I’d like to speak to her myself. Balder left the room, and a while later he returned, bringing Helen back to his father. Helen kneeled to Odin and spoke: -          You summoned me, Master Odin? Odin: -          Yes, you are Zetan spy, sent to seduce and spy on Melchior. I need to know who you are working for. Helen: -          Unfortunately, I am loyal to my master, and I will not expose mine or his identity. Odin: -          I could force the truth out of you… Helen: -          Yes. But bear in mind that Melchior is head over heels in love with me. I doubt that your human ally would appreciate you torturing his bride to be. Helen showed Odin an exquisite engagement ring she was carrying on her finger, and she dominated him with her cold gaze. Odin winced and broke. Realising that Helen was not susceptible to his threats, he tried a more diplomatic approach. -          Let’s not get carried away. I will leave your secret with you. But may I kindly ask that you share any information you acquire with us? We are both in this together after all. Helen spoke back to Odin with a highly arrogant tone: -          I’ll share whatever information that I find suitable to share with you, Master Odin. Now I must leave. I have a private bathing session planned with my fiancée Melchior. Odin:   -          Okay, Helen. Have it your way. But I’ll be watching you. Helen: -          And I will be watching you, Odin. Tread lightly! Having said this, Helen left Odin’s command module, with Odin feeling ambivalent. It was a good thing that he had a spy near Melchior, as he wasn’t confident that Melchior was trustworthy. But who was she, and who did she serve? Restless and tired, Odin went to bed, but his worries kept him awake, bereaving him of any sleep that night.
