Chapter 42 A Vast Xeno Army En Route to Attack the Zetans.

A week later, Odin was sitting on a pedestal and was studying the other Zetan leaders that had assembled. It was the first general assembly of the Zetan leadership in seven years. After Rangda’s escape from her eternal prison and the emergence of the Xeno hordes, the Zetans had been forced to cram into fortresses where their combined psionic capabilities created impenetrable force fields that the Xenos couldn’t pass. But packing into strongholds, starving and continually keeping their mental guards up was not a way to live, so they were all relieved when Melchior’s army arrived and proved to be friendly, providing them with food and drinks.

Odin raised his beer tankard and spoke:      

-          How delightful is this, after 2,000 years of thirsting we can finally assemble again to enjoy food and drinks.  Enjoy the Terran wine and beer and rejoice that our luck has finally turned.

A loud cheer broke out, and Ra spoke:

-          So now that we are all gathered Odin, what is our battle plan?

Odin:

-          We must unite and kill Rangda once and for all. Once she is dead, The Xenos are just mindless beasts and wiping them out will be an easy task.

-          Any news regarding the Xeno movements, dear Vishnu?

Vishnu:

-          Our spy drones indicate that Xenos are gathering all their forces, preparing for a final battle, there seems to be over a million of them in total.

-          The strange part is that Rangda is nowhere to be seen and from deciphering Xeno conversations, it seems like two Xeno leaders, Gumboll and Dingil have killed her and usurped power over the horde.

 Odin:

-          How is that possible?? I thought the Xenos was fiercely loyal to her, and she had them under her complete domination.

-          Regardless, I need to see her body to verify her death, I am not falling for any more of her ploys.

Suddenly, a Zetan guard rushed into the meeting:

-          Masters, I have urgent news!

-          The entire Xeno army, totalling over a million Xenos, is rushing towards us. They are 300 kilometres away running at full speed. We expect them to reach us in three to four hours.

Odin:

-          Excellent. This is the day we have been waiting for.  The Xenos will run straight into our trap, and once they are dealt with, we can finally return to Earth as gods as the humans have brought fuel to power up our portals. Prepare the soldiers. This will be a glorious day!

After Odin had spoken, everyone left the room in a hurry. There were 5,000 Zetans and almost a million human soldiers so it would take some time to get everyone ready.
