Later the same day, Melchior and his closest men had a feast on the late Peter Belovic. It was a shame to see a prominent follower die that way, but it was the least wasteful way for him to die. Peter’s DNA had been modified to alter his genome to give him Xeno properties just as Melchior had. Unfortunately, Peter’s body couldn’t handle the genetic changes and the pain they caused him, so the only way to help him was eating him alive while his heart was still pumping, instead of letting him die when time’s due and spoil the meat in the process.
One good thing came with Peter’s death; however; it increased Melchior’s superpower and opened Melchior’s telepathic abilities, so he could communicate with his evil Mistress, Rangda.
Melchior:
- It is done. The Terran Council leadership is terrified of us. They will not pose any resistance to our army entering the portals. They even agreed to help us with supplies.
Rangda:
- Ahh, harr! Excellent. And how did their leader react when she drank the holy blood from the sacred fountain.
Melchior:
- The blood failed to initiate her hunger. She reacted solely with disgust when she ingested it.
Rangda:
- That’s unfortunate but expected. The weak Earth humans are only vulnerable to the desire of the money and gold. They lack a natural thirst for blood.
- Thus, they kill for money and let the dead bodies go to waste. How wasteful and grotesque!
Melchior:
- Indeed, Mistress Rangda. That is why humanity needs a new beginning. And together we will make sure that the new dawn of human-Xeno kind happens!
Rangda:
- Yes, we shall. Together we shall cleanse the Zetan scourge, our mortal enemy, from this universe, and the noble Xeno values shall prevail. With us as the true rulers of the Milky Way galaxy!
Melchior:
- Yes. But the Terrans are terrified. Let’s attack and conquer Earth now while they are weak? I hunger for it!
Rangda:
- I know you do. But a true general doesn’t enter the battle unless it’s already won.
- Help me cleanse the Zetan scourge, and we will wipe out the Terran resistance together, and Earth shall be your price.
Melchior:
- Yes, Mistress. I will do your bidding.
- I will see you in the Divine Dimension.
- Goodbye!
After ending the telepathic connection with Rangda, Melchior was filled with rage. This was the second time the b***h had refused him his prey. She had stopped him from eating the delicious-looking Sabina, and now she’d prevent him from attacking Earth that was ripe for the taking. But he would obey, for now…
Melchior released his anger on one of his weaker soldiers, impaling the victim with his sharp claws and splitting him in half. The others stared at him in shock and Melchior shouted out:
- Still hungry. Eat more men!
And Melchior’s beastly men feasted on their just fallen comrade. Garrrrr!
