Chapter 33 Sabina Convinces Metatron to Counter-Act Melchior’s Evil

566 Words
Metatron was watching Sabina play with her dolls when she suddenly burst into tears. He walked up to comfort her when he noticed something majestic. Her eyes had once again transformed to shining crystal blue colour with magnificent bright light again, albeit this time the light in them was dimmed by her tears. Metatron hugged her and spoke: -          Sabina darling, what is wrong?      Sabina: -          That mean old man, Melchior. He and his bad men entered the portal to meet Rangda. Mummy and my friend, The True Maker, are both worried and scared. Metatron: -          How come you speak like a toddler? Sabina gave him a dumbfounded look and answered: -          Daddy, I am a toddler. I am only four years old. Metatron: -          Oh, I thought you were possessed by The True Maker, as your cute little do-ey eyes have turned crystal sparkling blue. Sabina: -          Papa, what does possessed mean? Metatron: -          That someone else is in your head, my sweet baby. Sabina: -          Don’t be silly, daddy. No-one else can fit in my head. I am so tiny. -          Anyways, with the mean bully Melchior making people sad, I want to make people happy. Metatron: -          That’s good. How do you want to make people happy? Sabina: -          By teaching what the True Maker taught me to other children. I can show them how to make people healthy and happy, papa! Metatron: -          Good. Yes, we can bring some children here tomorrow, and you can teach them. Sabina: -          No! -          I want to live on Eden with the children that live there. Metatron: -          But I am the leader of Eden. I must stay here. Sabina: -          No, you don’t have to, papa. The leader shall live with the people. When the leader starts living away from the people, that is when the bad things start to happen. Metatron considered what Sabina was saying, and there was indeed a lot of wisdom in it. But how would he rule from the surface? Then the issue dawned upon him. He shouldn’t rule, he should lead by example. Metatron: -          You’re right darling. Tomorrow we’ll build a new house in the village and move to Eden as a family. Sabina: -          Good. I can’t wait to make all these new friends. Thank you, daddy. I love you. Metatron: -          I love you too, sweetheart. -          Time to sleep. We will have a busy day tomorrow. Having tucked in Sabina, Metatron had a realisation. That he and most religious people had been wrong all along. They had worshipped the false gods. A proper god should never have lived above the human commanding and forcing obedience. A decent god should live among them and guide them in their everyday lives. This was how religious worship had worked among the earliest humans, and this was the correct way of interacting with deities. As soon as mankind had put their deities on pedestals above them, they also started to act this way among themselves, and soon enough their leaders led with commands and fear. Sabina had shown that a deity could be on the same level as their fellow humans.  It was a change back to the original human condition, and Metatron couldn’t wait to see how things would turn out!
