Chapter 23 Metatron Visits Hilda Muller Urging Her to Attack the Xenos.

1209 Words
A few months later Metatron and Sabina were sitting in the lobby of Europeum Tower on Earth waiting for an audience with Hilda Muller. What had he gotten himself into? Sabina had spoken to him on several occasions, telling him that she had special abilities given to her by the True Maker and that it was her destiny to stop Rangda’s terror by speaking to Hilda. But in between these moments of divine intervention, she was just a regular child. Regardless, Metatron was convinced that he must do something, after all, he was responsible for things turning out the way they had. Contacting the Terran Council was a risky move. They had certainly not been the humanitarian civilisation in the past, and if they somehow knew how much Eden had assisted Keila in her rebellion against them in the first place, Metatron would have signed his own death warrant by coming here. Metatron convinced himself that they didn’t know anything about the Edenite involvement in the Martian uprising; otherwise, they had been coming to Eden in force, years ago. Metatron entered Hilda’s office, and he was astonished by what he saw. He had pictured Hilda Muller like a stout and resolute lady in her military uniform, but the woman that greeted him was relatively young in an expensive blue dress, laden in jewellery. Hilda smiled at him and spoke: -          You look surprised Mr Jack Silver, or should I call you Metatron? Metatron: -          Metatron is fine. -          Yes, you look so much younger and prettier in real life than you do in your press conferences. Hilda: -          Yes. There is a reason for that. When I speak publicly, I use makeup to make myself look older. And to instil authority, I am wearing my Supreme Commander uniform. -          But now I am not in the public eye, and like any 32-year-old woman, I like to feel pretty from time to time. -          But how cute is that child you have with you? Is that your daughter? Metatron: -          Yes, Sabina is my daughter, and this is her first visit to Earth. Hilda: -          And let us both hope she has many visits to come! -          She looks familiar. Like someone, I met briefly, a few years ago. Metatron: -          Oh, have you been to Eden in the past? Her mother Melissa has never been away from Eden. Hilda: -          Oh, well I must be mistaken then. I have never been to Eden. But from what I have heard you have created something unique there. -          But sorry to be rude, but I am a busy woman so let’s get down to business. -          You have come to pledge yourself to the Terran Council and incorporate Eden into our territory, is that right? Metatron: -          No, I believe that Eden will be better off as a neutral colony, especially considering the massive decline that the Terran Council have faced in recent years. Hilda: -          I am sorry, but then I don’t understand why you have come? Metatron: -          I have come here to introduce you to my daughter, a prodigy child bestowed by superior intelligence power from the True Maker himself. -          With your help, we can deal with Rangda before she becomes a threat to the entire galaxy. Hilda: -          Is this a bad joke? You are bringing me a toddler, and claim that I must send my army to the Divine Dimension on a mission to stop the leader of the Xenos under the power of your God, the True Maker? That’s akin to suicide! Metatron: -          Yes. I would like you to bring my toddler and let her tell you about her prophetic powers. Why haven’t you sent troops to the portal to Divine Dimension in Cheops Pyramid already? After all, the Xeno attacks have finally receded, and it’s time to go on the counterattack Hilda: -          Mind your manners. You are not to come here and dictate to me how to run my faction. Suddenly Sabina’s eyes changed to a glowing crystal blue which illuminated brightly, and she spoke: -          Oh dear, Hilda. Please help me stop Rangda and Melchior. Their power is increasing every day that passes. If you don’t act soon, it’s going to be too late. Hilda: -          What is going on here? What bionic implants have you put in the child’s brain to enable this kind of unnatural behaviour? Sabina: -          I don’t have any implants, my ability to reason on an adult’s level is granted by the True Maker, aided by my mum’s prayers. Hilda: -          AI! Scan Sabina Silver for bionic implants! AI: -          Sabina Silver doesn’t seem to have any bionic implants. Sabina: -          I would prefer that you use my mother’s last name, Eisenstein. Hilda: -          Are you Keila Eisenstein’s daughter? Sabina: -          Yes. Hilda: -          Then your mother is the cause of all the bad things that have happened. Keila opened the Portal to the Divine Dimension which led to the Xenos horde attacking us humans. Sabina: -          Yes, but she never had bad intentions. She was deceived by Rangda, who controlled her mind to get her to do things she wanted. As she was deluded by fear, she failed to foresee what was to come and to set things right! Hilda: -          So, what would you have me do? Sabina: -          You know what to do! Send me to the Divine Dimension with the backing of your Terran troops! After saying this, Sabina lost her connection with the True Maker, her eye colour changed back to green, and she reverted to the mental status of a normal 1.5-year-old child. Hilda unaware of the change that took place, screamed at Sabina: -          No! This is impossible, I don’t believe you at all. Don’t you dare to tell me right to my face what you want me to do, you creepy child! Sabina, upon reverting from her state of trance and back to being just a normal toddler, said “gaahhh, boohoo, mean lady”, and started crying, and ran to her father Metatron for comfort.    Hilda: -          What happened? She’s acting like a toddler again? Metatron: -          She is no longer connected with the spirit of the True Maker.  Thus, she is now just a typical toddler. -          Anyways. You have seen enough. You know what to do. Hilda screamed at Metatron, who flinched in surprise: -          Yes. I should have you both executed for your connection with our mortal enemy, Keila Eisenstein! Metatron: -          If you kill Sabina, you’ll doom us all! She is the only one who can save this universe and close the interdimensional rifts! Hilda: -          Silence! Get away from me. I’ll let you both live, but you are never to return to Earth again. Metatron realising that Hilda Muller wasn’t receptive to anything he would say, he lifted the crying Sabina and left the aggravated Hilda Muller’s office in disappointment.
