Chapter 15 Metatron’s and Melissa’s plan to protect Eden from Melchior.

766 Words
Later the same day, Metatron was seeking advice from Melissa. While he didn’t know how much value her opinion would have as she was an uneducated peasant from Eden, she was still his wife, and he was impressed by her dedication in learning everything about the world. Melissa, being an empathetic and caring woman, could sense Metatron’s insecurity, even though he tried to project a calm exterior. Melissa: -          What worries you, Metatron? Was Melchior acting callous and threatening during his visit? Metatron: -          He came for the Zetan technologies. I don’t know if I will give them to him or not.  It’s a difficult choice because a part of me knows what damage it can cause if an evil man like Melchior gets hold of advanced alien technologies. But if I don’t hand them over, he will come and take them by force, and the people that I care about will suffer. Melissa: -          I see. But you’re not the only one who struggles with that choice. Melchior’s parents and sisters still live on Eden. Surely, he wouldn’t attack risking their lives? Metatron didn’t answer this, and instead, he played the security footage from his meeting with Melchior earlier the same day. Melissa studied the video in shock and eventually spoke: -          What happened to Melchior? He used to be a devout follower of Abraham’s teaching, and he loved his family. How could he kill his own mother in cold blood, just to prove a point? Metatron: -          I think he is possessed by Rangda, the same demon that possessed Keila and caused her to open the portals on Earth, unleashing the Xenos. Melissa: -          Why do you reckon he is possessed? Metatron: -          Because I realised that he was wearing tinted lenses to hide his real eye colour, and I caught a glimpse of his actual eye colour when he rubbed his eyes. Melchior’s eyes are glowing purple, the same colour Keila got when her possession started to embellish her. -          Oh, how I wish I had realised the danger back then. Melissa pondered what Metatron had said. Suddenly, a great plan popped up in her head, and she was battling with her self-doubts on whether to tell him or not, but eventually, she spoke: -          What about if we were to imbue the Zetan technology with a Trojan horse? Metatron:   -          A Trojan horse? Melissa: -          Yes. We pretend to give in to Melchior’s demands by giving him what the desires, but unbeknownst to him, among the Zetan technologies that we send out, we can imbue a hidden computer virus that we could activate in the times of need. Metatron: -          Good thinking, but it would never work. The Artificial Intelligence in Melchior’s mainframe would immediately identify the virus, and we’d be in trouble. Melissa: -          Hmm, I know I’m not very smart as you are, but wouldn’t Zetan codes themselves be incomprehensible foreign software by human-made supercomputers, as they were coded in another programming language, thus being treated as a virus in its entirety? Metatron studied Melissa’s face, and he realised how blind he had been to her true character. He had believed that she was a dumb peasant and merely a tool to give birth to his child. At this moment he realised her real potential, although she was bereaved of any education, being a woman growing up under Abraham’s archaic rule, she had still had more smarts and wits than most people. Metatron: -          You are correct Melissa! If we add an extra virus code, Melchior’s supercomputers wouldn’t be able to tell the difference. Let’s infuse a Trojan virus in the blueprint that we will give Melchior tomorrow, to make sure that he can never threaten Eden again. -          Come with me to the Divine Dimension. There is plenty of work to be done and time is of the essence! After saying this they both rushed to the Divine Detector Machine, to transport their minds to The Divine Dimension, where they could program a highly invasive Trojan virus and embed it into the Zetan blueprints which they were going to give Melchior. Although they had only 12 hours of normal dimension time to do this, with the time difference between the normal dimension and the Divine Dimension, there was more than enough time for the task at hand.
