Chapter 17 Rangda Influences Melchior.

Rangda was studying the sleeping Keila. She was a costly prisoner to keep, and she hadn’t been as useful as Rangda had hoped. When Rangda had led the first assault on Earth to capture Keila, she had expected to find a way to drain Keila’s psionic powers to power up Rangda’s corrupted Zeto Crystals. This hadn’t worked, as Rangda had tried everything to power up Keila’s psionic powers, including sending troops of Xenos to raids on Earth to acquire food suitable for Keila to consume. While Keila had gladly gorged on the obtained Terran food, she hadn’t been cooperative enough to charge the corrupted Zeto Crystals with her psionic powers, and Rangda had decided that Keila had a too strong will of her own, to fall under Rangda’s domination.

But, as useless as Keila was for Rangda’s original purpose, she had proven to be exceptionally useful for another use: to influence Melchior.

As Melchior was lacking Zetan DNA sequences, unlike Keila, Rangda couldn't influence him via Zetan telepathy. It was easy for Rangda to manipulate Keila’s thoughts as Keila was the chosen one by all the Zetans and Rangda herself was a half Zetan/half Xeno. But she had found out that she was easily capable of manipulating Melchior’s dreams and subconscious desires through the Divine technology chip instilled in Keila’s brain. Through temporarily dominating Keila, she could use Keila’s powers to influence Melchior. Rangda studied Melchior. His eyes had turned to her glowing purple predator eyes, but he was yet in fear of revealing his true self. This was good. His fear of exposing his dark feelings to anyone would just make them grow stronger, and eventually, he would succumb to it.

Rangda induced another dream into Melchior. In this dream, he was eating his young niece Elsa, daughter of his brother Dov Dorevitch. Knowing that Melchior was close to Dov, Rangda was convinced that this was what would finally bring Melchior to insanity and be fully immersed by his dark desires, which would finally make him her slave!
