I woke up to the room lit up before turning dark again, then looked to the balcony and saw the dark sky beginning to light up by lightning. I looked at Jane who was still sleeping, then I turned to look at the clock and saw it was only 12 am. I got up slowly, trying my best to not wake Jane up. I went to the bathroom to pee and as I was returning to the room I saw a shadow on the balcony curtain. I acted like I hadn't seen it as I made my way back to bed. As I got into it, Jane sat up and said groggily, "Where did you go?" I smiled at her as I said, "I had to pee." She sat up and said, "I have to go too."
