Nyla's Sweetheart

First Meeting

After performing all the death rituals....

John hugs her niece for one last time before leaving for Cairo. Abram, feeling proud of his brother and sister in law, blessed the little girl and also leave for Cairo along with John and his mother.

After greeting them goodbye, Darius and Nefret along with their new daughter take their place in the car seat. Inside the car Darius took the little girl in his arms ( as all of them were busy in doing the formalities and performing rituals, that the dark night turns into a new morning and till now they couldn't interact with her properly) therefore for the first time Darius takes her into his arms.

Darius : ( in a very sweet tone) My princess, What is your name?

Little girl : ( in a low voice) NYLA. My name is Nyla Nabil.

Darius : (smiling at her) Wow! What a sweet name you have got (and kiss her forehead)

Darius : (very carefully) Princess you know that your Mummy and Daddy has gone out of the town for some work and will be back very soon.. Till then, Will you come to live with us?

Nyla Nabil : (in her sad tone) I know that Mummy and Daddy has gone to live with God and whoever goes to God never comes back.

Hearing her Darius look at Nefret, who couldn't stop the tears coming out of her eyes.

Darius hugs Nyla close to his heart and thinks that he will make her life a better one.

Meanwhile Nefret promises to herself that no matter what she will be doing everything to make Nyla happy and will give her all the love that she deserves.

Nefret makes Nyla sit into her lap and Darius starts the car and drives to their home.

It was almost 8 o clock in the morning.....

Noel is waiting for his parents , along with Grandma.

Noel calls them many a times but Nefret left her cellphone at home while Darius phone was switched off.

After waiting for 3 more hours

The doorbell rings and one of the maid goes and open the door.

Noel sees Nefret entering and he rushes towards her ( shouting Muummmmmyy....). Nefret take him into her arms. Den Noel sees Darius entering. Then Noel's eyes fall on Nyla, who is holding Darius's index finger.

Noel : (in a confuse tone) Mum who is she? 

Nefret put him down and take him towards Darius and Nyla (who were standing nearby the door). Nefret introduces them

Nefret : Noel, meet her. She is Nyla, our new family member. We are fortunate that from today onwards Nyla will always be with us.

Darius : Noel,  my champ. Take care of her. Be her bestfriend .

Noel : Hi Nyla, you are very sweet. Will you be my bestfriend? And put his hand foreward.

Nyla : (shaking hands with Noel) yes, I will be ur bestfriend.

Just then Grandma enters the scene and give her blessings to Nyla and welcome her to the family.

Nefret : Noel, son take Nyla to the dining room and make her eat. She must be very hungry.

Noel excitedly holds Nyla's hand and run towards the dining room.

Darius and Nefret explains everything to Grandma about taking Nyla's responsibility. 

Grandma feels very proud of them.

In the dining table

Noel : What would you like to have Nyla?

Nyla : (with tearful eyes) I am missing my mummy daddy. I do not feel like eating anything.

Noel : Don't be sad my bestie. You first have something. Then I will ask dad to call your mummy daddy. And you will get to meet them.

Nyla : (eyes filled with tears) Dat is not possible. Because Mummy and Daddy went to God's place and they will never return.

Just then Nefret and Darius ( who hears their conversation) comes to them.

Darius : (sitting beside Nyla) My dear, do you know that ur dad and I were best buddies. We were neighbours. We did our schooling together, we were together at college and he was always there with me during my ups and downs. He always supported me in my personal as well as professional life. Even not only Nabil was also very close to my elder brother Abram.

Nefret : And Nyla, your Mummy Nadia was a very close friend of mine. We all had a wonderful time together with full of enjoyment.

Darius : Nyla, my dear. Never think that you are alone. We are always here for you. For us, you are our daughter. You are no lesser than Noel to us. Call us Dad n Mum, my princess (Saying this he kissed Nyla's forehead)

Nyla : (with a smile in her face) Alright Dad.

Nefret : Nyla, now will you have your food?

Nyla : yes Mum

Nefret happily hugs her and start feeding her and Noel. 

Grandma then enters the scene with some of the old photographs and albums of the childhood days of Darius, Abram and Nabil. And starts telling the old stories of their childhood days. 

Everyone enjoys and laughs a lot listening to some of the old funny incidents. Nyla too starts enjoying the Grandma's stories. Nefret and Darius feels happy looking at Nyla who is laughing and enjoying.

After Grandma is finished with her stories. Noel takes Nyla with him to the garden.

Noel : Nyla, you know today I am so happy that you are here with me. Just like our parents we can also become great friends. I will always be with you.

Nyla : Thank you Noel. And I will also be your bestest friend.

Saying this they hugged each other.

Day by day, everything becomes normal for Nyla. Grandma, Mr. and Mrs. Magdy take very good care of her like a daughter. She has become a part of their life. And especially Noel who is so much in love with Nyla that he always remain her. Nyla is so much involved and enjoying her life that she overcame her sorrows.

Noel and Nyla start going to the same school. They are in the same class. And everyone knows about their strong bonding for each other. At school they sit together in the same bench, share food together and play together, even both of them share same group of friends. At home also they will study together, play together, eat together. Whole day they used to spent together except the sleeping hours at night. Even both of their bedrooms are adjacent to each other.

But every night before sleeping, Nyla recalls her parents. She used to tell them that how Mom n Dad ( Mr. and Mrs. Magdy, whom Nyla now considers as her parents) and Grandma used to love , take care of her and fulfill all her wishes and requirements. Instead of getting upset, every night Nyla thanked the Almighty for giving her such a wonderful life with all the amazing people in it. Most importantly she finds herself lucky to have Noel all the time by her side, who so much loves and take care of her.

Like this the days are passing. And  Noel and Nyla's bonding getting more and more strong.
