The Mansion

I am standing in my room packing when Alpha Nate says the words “I think you are my mate”. I was so shock by the words of Alpha Nate I could not respond I stood the frozen staring in his dark beautiful eyes, then I came to reality and smile pulling away from his arms then I chuckle the words “no you must have wrong I am a rejected wolf-less girl why would anyone choose me as their mate?”.

He stretch out his hand to me and said “I will have you if you let”, I stand and stair thinking I should accept my mind was telling me no but my heart and body was saying yes because I could feel the strong bond between us. I then place my hands in his and said “yes I accept to be your Luna for the White light Moon pack” as the words left my mouth I saw a golden light wrapped around us concluding our bond. I turned to see Alpha Jake standing at the entrance of the door with Kelly when I accepted Nate as my mate he was shocked to see that someone else might be interested in me. “Did I just hear you clearly? Selene, you and Alpha Nate are mates? Are you out of your damn mind? You're not even out of the pack, and you're accepting another man already, wow your just a big joke trying to embarrass me”. I look at Jake feeling coward then Nate grip my had tightly assure me to be brave no one can harm me as long as he is around, I looked him and smile then found my courage and said “breaks your heart that much to know that someone would actually be interested in me that someone would actual want a wolf-less person like me” I gave him a smirk smile showing him I am no longer afraid of him or his pack no one could bully me as long as Nate was around.

“Please take me away from this awful place I just want to go” I said to Nate with tears in my eyes, I took up my bag and just as I am to step out Kelly shouted “where do you think you are going after you embarrass our Alpha like that you should be thought a lesson” just as Kelly raised her hands to slap me across my fate Alpha Nate roared and shouted “if anyone dear to touch my Luna will have to answer to me” everyone backed off when he said those words, he turned and said to his assistant Joseph get the car ready we are leaving now, “yes Alpha right away” Joseph reply. I held my head high for the very first time in my life and walked out with my Alpha, leaving this wretched life behind me. As Nate opened the car door for me, I spin one last time and looked back at the pain and sorrows I am happy to leave behind.

I feel asleep on the journey as the car stopped I open my eyes and looked out side to see a large exclusive mansion I could not believe my eyes it was much bigger and more beautiful than Alpha Jake home, Nate got out and open the door for me “welcome home my Luna” I smiled as I stepped out my heart felt warm to hear someone calling me their Luna and accepting me for me, I looked Nate by the hand as I walked inside with him as we enter the house the entire pack was their waiting to greet us “welcome home Alpha Nate, welcome home Luna Selene” shouted the pack including Nate parents and sister. Before anyone else could greet me Ashley ran up to me with a big smile “I have always wanted a sister finally I got one to share everything with”, “come on Ashley she just got here give her space to breath there will be a lot of time for bonding with your sister-in-law” Nate said with a smirk smile.

As the maids took me to my room, I looked around to see everything look so groucious in the mansion. I felt so much at home that I felt so much love and great energy flowing I felt at ease. When the maids open the door the head of the maids said “welcome to your room my Luna if you should need anything please feel free to ask us and we will attend to your every need, I looked at her and smile then said “thank you but please just call me Selene”, “Oh no we could never Alpha Nate would have our heads for this” one of the maids said tremble “yes he would” someone shouted from behind instantly the maids moved apart to give way I looked up to see a nice figure man almost looking as handsome as Nate is before I could say anything he started introducing his self “hi my name is Nathaniel I am Nate younger brother, sorry I couldn’t be at your welcoming party was busy with other stuffs, but welcome to the family my Luna or should it be new sister-in-law”, I looked at him deeply only to see right through him that he was up to no good. “Nice to meet I am Selene” I said with a smile voice trying not to be rude, “Luna we advise to stay away from him he has always wanted to compete with Alpha Nate and tried to de-throne him multiple times to take over the pack but Alpha Nate has always been one step ahead of him he is bad news never up to no good” sprouted one of the maids.

I smiled as the maid said those words, thinking of ways to stay far away from him as possible. “So he is the younger brother, huh?” I asked, “well he is actually my half brother” Nate reply, the maids then turned around & left the room as Nate spoke leaving us two to talk, “half brother I don’t understand”, “yes he is my father’s child not my mother, my father had an affair with an outsider and cheated on my mom, however when Nathaniel mother passed away mysteriously my father had no other choice but to bring him home ever since he grew up with me and my sister and my mom raised him as her own but apparently he is an ungrateful one and very tricky but don’t worry I will always be by your side to protect you no matter what” Nate said to me as he leaned in & kiss me on my forehead.

“Here I have something for you turned around” Nate said, as I turned around he place a necklace around my neck it was the most stunning necklace I have ever seen tears fell from my eyes as no one has never been so nice to me before or given me a gift apart from the necklace I have of my birth mother. “Why are you crying?” Nate asked hugging me from behind, “it’s just that no one has ever cared so much about me until I met you is like you are my guardian angel, you know everyday I used to wish for my mother to come and take away from all of this so I could be at peace not having a wolf make me feel useless and helpless I wish I had my wolf to help me fight back. Nate looked at me in the mirror and said “you don’t need to worry anymore you now have me and I will always be there for you to protect you, come on get ready and come down for your welcoming party.

Nate left the room for me to get ready. “Nate you have to tell her the truth, she is not wolf-less she has her wolf also you need to tell her about her mother” his wolf spoke sternly to him, “hold up what do you mean she has a wolf” Nate asked feeling confused, “yes she does she just haven’t awaken her as yet, the first time we met her at Alpha Jakes house and we touched her I sensed her wolf she is asleep and needs to be awaken with the reckless of her mother a drip of Selene blood on the necklace will awaken her wolf and then she will really know who she is and her origins and its our duty to ensure that she does. Selene is no ordinary wolf she is a true She Alpha from the first Alpha originated, Selene parents were the first Alpha’s that ever life they were the ruler of Star light moon pack that her uncle now controls he has something to do with the death of Selene’s parents and we need to help her figure it out” his wolf explained.

Nate sat in the chair of his room while thinking on the way forward then he said “I will get someone to investigate this matter more before I can tell her anything, greatest part I am glad that I found her to help me break this curse that was placed upon me and I promise to always protect her and be by her side forever.
