Chapter 16: Girly Time*

“Come on, get back up!” Alannah said for the thousandth time.
“I don’t understand how you can keep putting me on my back. You are injured!” Kurt moaned.
“Clearly, it is because she is a far superior fighter in every way!” Adam shouted out.
“Concentrate on your own fight!” Theo shouted back.
As if Karma was was in action, Bruce swiped Adam’s legs and Adam landed flat on his back. This made the Twins snigger as they were doing circuit training.
“You are getting better. I mean I am only hit you half the times I did four weeks ago!” Alannah said cheerfully.
Kurt smiled, it had been a good four weeks. He had taken it very slowly with Alannah and they hadn’t even kissed yet, but he was happy with the progress.
Kurt had learnt so much about her, from her favourite film (Princess Bride), Music tastes and even food. Kurt was a bit disillusioned a couple of weeks back, thinking that she only thought of them as friends. That was until the shower incident.
Kurt was innocently coming out of the shower block, his bottom half wrapped in just a towel? Alannah had been walking into the female showers and they had met in the corridor. Kurt had never seen a woman blush so deeply at the sight of him. He noticed that her eyes had lingered a little too long on his chest.
“Like what you see?” Kurt had teased. Kurt then chuckled as he watched Alannah rush into her shower block without a word.
Since then he taking every opportunity to touch her - but not too much that it was creepy.
“Alannah the Doctor is here to take your cast off!” Tao shouted as he came in with a Doctor. “The rest of you can have the rest of the day off. We have an announcement to make tomorrow and I want you all as fresh as possible!”
“Score!” The Twins said in unison.
“Well, I do have some shopping to do in the city. Adam and Matt do you want to come along?” Bruce said.
“Sounds like fun, I could do with a beer!” Matt said and Adam nodded.
“How about some dinner?” Kurt asked casually to Alannah
“ Yeah, why not? There is a great noodle place in the city!” Alannah said.
“I was thinking more about that French place I mentioned before!” Kurt said.
“Oh, you mean that type of dinner!” Alannah said.
“What do you mean?” Kurt said
“A date dinner!” Alannah said.
“Well....yes....does that change your answer?” Kurt said trying not to feel deflated.
“Hell no! It just means you can pay!” Alannah said with a giggle.
“ALANNAH I AM PAYING THIS BUTCHER BY THE HOUR, SO MOVE IT!” Tao roared making everyone jump.
Alannah winked and ran towards the medical room.
“Did Alannah just wink and...” Ethan said.
“Giggle like a girl?” Aiden said shocked.
“Yeap!” Kurt said as he raced to his room, he had some serious planning to do.

Alannah felt nervous as she knocked on the big blue door. Maya opened it up looking surprised when she saw Alannah.
“Is everything OK?” Maya asked concerned.
“Um...I need some help.” Alannah said embarrassed.
“Alannah is everything OK?” Tao said walking to the door his face full of concern.
“Oh, God! Just kill me now!” Alannah thought.
Maya must have sensed Alannah’s embarrassment as she turned to Tao and said “ Darling could you had me the families credit card?”
“Why?” Tao asked. That card was rarely used, not that Xan ever denied them anything within reason.
“Because Alannah and I are going shopping. Now hand it over, I know you guys use it for beer and games!” Maya said with her hand open expectantly. Tao, not being able to deny his wife anything handed it over.
“Can I just set a budget of..” Tao said tentatively.
“No, you may not!” Maya said shutting the door. “Let’s go and we can talk,” Maya said smiling.

“You look amazing in that dress!” Maya said.
Alannah looked at herself in the mirror, she looked like a different person. In the reflection, stood a woman in a turquoise dress that came down to her knees. It showed off her curves and cleavage, whilst looking classy.
“You don’t think it is too much?” Alannah asked nervously.
“If you are going to that French restaurant, then no! You are going to steal his heart!” Maya said approvingly.
“Steal his heart?” Alannah said feeling nervous again.
“Yes, that is what you want isn’t it? That and to shag you senseless!” Maya said with a smirk.
“Maya!” Alannah said with a blush.
“What? I have seen the way you stare at each other when you think no one is looking. There is nothing to be embarrassed about!” Maya said.
“It can never be!” Alannah said as she tried on shoes.
“Those black ones go! Look things have a funny way of working themselves out. Look and Tao and I!” Maya said as Alannah walked carefully around in the high heels.
“But..” Said Alannah.
“No buts!” Maya said as they paid for their goods. Alannah thought about their shopping trip, but she was sorely mistaken. Maya guided her into a sexy Lingerie shop.
“How can we help you ladies today?” A woman dressed in black said.
“Hello, my friend here needs some sexy underwear as she is going on a hot date tonight!” Maya said and Alannah blushed.
The shop assistant smiled and said “Well you come to the right place. What type of bra do you normally wear? Underwired? Padded? Push up?”
“Sports” Alannah mumbled
“Sorry?” The assistant asked
“Sports!” Alannah blurted out loudly much to her embarrassment. She did not need any other type and a good sports bra was worth its weight in gold.
“Ah I see, come let’s get you to try some on. Looking at you, I say you were a 30 D!” The assistant said pushing her to the changing rooms.
The next half hour or so, Alannah tried on several bras and settled with a black lace one with a lace thong. She felt like an incredibly sexy temptress in them.
“Thank you so much, Maya!” Alannah gushed as she walked out with her newly paid for goods.
“Oh, we are not done yet! “ Maya said walking Alannah into another shop. Alannah realised that she was in a salon.
“I am afraid ladies that we are about to close!” Said one of the store assistants.
The Manager quickly came over and said “Please forgive her Maya, she is new here. How can I be of assistance?”
“It is ok Melody, I have not been in for a while. The business has been doing so well!” Maya said happily.
“Only thanks to your investment!” Melody said.
“Nonsense! Anyway, this is Alannah.” Maya said.
“The Red Vixen?” The new assistant said suddenly looking worried that Alannah was going to attack. This made Alannah blush, she had forgotten what a bloodthirsty reputation she had in the real world.
“Zara, how dare you be rude to our customer!” Melody scolded.
“it is OK, seriously!” Alannah said.
“Alannah needs the full works, do you think you can get it done before 8?” Maya said glaring at Zara.
“Of course!” Melody said with a smile and she turned. Clapping her hands Melody said “Ladies! We have a special customer today. She needs the full works and it needs to be done to the best of our abilities. She is a personal friend of my business partner. Understand?” The five beauticians looked over and smiled warmly.
“Business partner?” Alannah asked.
“Yes, Melody is an old school friend. I invested some money in and the business has grown 10 fold!” Maya said with a wink as Alannah was led away.
A few hours later Alannah was back in her room. “I will never moan at Tao’s circuits again!” she moaned.
Alannah had been plucked, waxed and scrubbed within an inch of her life. The Brazilian wax had been particularly interesting, and she swore she could hear Maya laugh when she yelped out in pain.
However, looking at the finished result, she begrudgingly thought it was worth it. Her make up was on point, natural and beautiful. Her hair had been curled and allowed to flow free below her shoulders, like a red waterfall. Alannah had also got her locket and decided to wear it as a good luck charm. The gold finished off the outfit perfectly.
*knock*knock*knock
“Alannah he is ready!” Maya said in an excited voice. Alannah opened the door and Maya gasped.
“Do I look alright?” Alannah asked.
“You look stunning little one!” Maya said with a smile.
“Little one? You have not called me that for ages!” Alannah said.
“Well, I am feeling sentimental tonight!” Maya said as they both walked to the main entrance.
Alannah saw Kurt and gasped. He was in a black tuxedo, that looked like an expensive one. His clothes fitted his frame perfectly, showing his muscles. He looked incredibly handsome. When Kurt saw her his eyes widened and his jaw dropped.
“Bloody hell, you look as hot as hell! Kurt is one lucky man!” Ethan said and Aiden nodded. Alannah hadn’t even noticed the other people around.
“Oh, thanks!” Alannah said nervously putting her hair behind one ear and blushing.
“ Kurt had not said one thing, did he not like what he saw?” Alannah thought.
“What do you think Kurt?” Maya said encouragingly. She sensed that Alannah’s confidence was fast fading.
“You...erm..you....” Kurt splurted.
“Has the old man had some sort of stroke?” Ethan said concerned.
“Kurt, Kurt, can you hear me? How many fingers am I holding up?” Aiden said held up four fingers as Alannah rushed over to check on Kurt.
“I have not had a stroke!” Kurt said crossly and Maya smirked knowing that Kurt was speechless when he saw Alannah.
“Oh, he has got it real bad!” Maya thought.
“Are you sure you are OK?” Alannah asked rubbing his back. Kurt had to close his eyes to get a hold of his senses. He was the Chairman of the British syndicate, not some weak arsed horny teenager!
“I am fine and you look like a Goddess tonight Alannah!” Kurt said with a smile.
Tao came in from outside and said “Your car is here Kurt. Can I just lay down a curfew?”
“No, you cannot. Have fun tonight! ” Maya said as she pushed them both out the door to the waiting Mercedes Benz.
“Are you ready?” Kurt said opening the door.
“Always!” Alannah said with a smile as she got in.
“Goddam, this girl is going to be the death of me!” Mumbled Kurt.
