“So you sent that man over to my house to fight me?” Conrad’s angry voice echoed through the other end of the line. “I can’t believe you would do something like this.”
I opened my mouth to speak, but he cut me off. “If you didn’t want me anymore, you could have simply told me, instead of embarrassing me like that.”
I couldn’t hold back a scoff. “I told you multiple times that I don’t want you, you just do not want to accept it.”
