Cooper "Good morning, son," dad looks too happy to be awake this early. "What's so good about it?" I ask. I had the worst sleep. I barely even had any sleep. I tossed and turned. All I smelled was my mate in my bed and on my pillows. At some point, I shifted and ran for hours and even that didn't help. After sleeping in the same bed with Rae the other night, not sleeping with her again last night was basically torture. My wolf whined the whole night. Now I see what mated wolves mean when they say they can't stay away from their mates for too long. "Get some coffee, and meet me in my office.
