Rae Time goes by quickly. Ambulance and police officers show up. I try to give a statement when they ask me if I knew who it was that entered the school and my classroom, but Victoria interrupts me. "Is this questioning really necessary right now? She should be checked first. She hit her head," she says. I get a bad feeling when she says that. "I didn't hit my head, he beat me, and they all stomped on my head and arms with their boots," I say. I don't want to exactly say Lincoln J.R.'s name yet. I am not defending him. The only reason I haven't said his name, is because I respect Victoria, and I want to believe that she will do the right thing.
