I know they say love is blind,

But I had only you on my mind.

Our moments together were precious and few,

But I cherished them all more than you knew.

I long for your touch and your warm embrace,

The look in your eyes... the smile on your face.

Your tender touch, a soft kiss,

Two things about you I will miss.

How can I handle my broken heart?

My entire world has fallen apart.

How do I hope for a brand new day,

when the one I love has gone away?

My heart was prisoned by the memories of you,

of all that we've shared, all that we knew.

When you held me you said "forever"

Now that you're gone I know you meant "never"

Saying you love me with that look in your eye,

And that was a memory of lie.

My dreams are filled with your soft gentle kiss,

I wake and cry for all that I miss.

My heart knows to love only you, 

And now it is broken because of you.

A hurt so deep... it cuts like a knife,

But my wounds will never heal and I can't go on with my life.

A raging inferno that burns our soul,

Melting us into one, making us whole.

Love is fire and I'm burning alive,

The pain of it all seems unbearable at the moment... I can't survive.

There's no going back now, no point of return. 

If this is what it means to love you...

let me burn.

Love is a fire that burns unseen, 

I gave the light, all for him.

Making you happy is my only desire,
