Thirty Three
Too many thoughts were crossing my mind. Why was Kane doing what he was doing? I mean, everybody knew that Kane had not yet found his mate.
Or maybe I was beginning to doubt that fact because now that his brother had pulled this stun that he had pulled when he found his own mate being me, I was starting to believe that indeed, it must have been a little pattern with the Pierce brothers to secretly find their mate, not be satisfied with the mate, and then decide that they're going to ditch them and continue to live their lives according to however they will.
So perhaps he did have a mate, but he wanted to reach out. Why was he choosing to buy me? Why did he want to buy me? A lot of thoughts were running through my mind, but nothing could quite describe how I felt. Daunted,
