Chapter Fifteen
“Do you know how painful it was to get beaten for something I did not do?” I ask him, and he only stares at me, his jaw clenching like he is only going to be at peace if I stop talking. But I will not let him have that. I mean, I'm already in here, what more can he do to me? What more can he do to me really? Kill me? If he kills me, he will suffer too and he must know it.
“Shut up.” He says to me,
“no, you have to tell me why you did this!” I say. I am not letting him get away without explaining himself.
“Shut up and eat the f*****g food before I change my mind”. He gives me a container of food and it is actually a very nice looking meal
“. Eat right now”, he says, like it is a command and I only decide to do it because I am hungry. It could be poison for all I know
