Scarcely Awaits Your Soul

PROLOGUE

“Safiya Alyona! what are you doing?!” my dear father shouted at me when i clicked the file in the laptop and exposing the censored video of him along his mistress and the only bestfriend of my beloved mother. The board meeting for the largest project for his company was being distrupted because of me.

“See? have you seen their sinful acts!? and all of you here are going to trust him?!” I screamed in the top of my lungs to the board members, I feel so outrageous of the affair of my Father Leo and my aunt Karina. “My dear father Leo, are you so confident to have a s*x with my mother’s bestfriend inside of your office? how dare you to cheat on my mother with this filthy woman?!” I don’t care about my father’s feeling towards me and I don’t care if the big project will be cancelled because of me, well, it’s their fault because of their sinful acts.

“Alyona get out here!” My father’s voice silenced the people inside the meeting including me. His voice is like a thunder that made me shiver, his eyes is in bloodshot and his face turns red. It’s my first time to see him very angry and it’s because of me. He called her secretary and grabbed me out of the room. “Miss, how did you get the footages, you just destroyed your father’s most important meeting for the company” the secretary told me in a lower but concerned voice. “I visited my father’s office 3 days ago and I saw him with my aunt Karina in the top of him and I decided to film them, I waited a perfect chance to humiliate them because they deserves it” I answered her. My heart is full of anger and I can’t accept that my loving and gorgeous mother was being cheated of his filthy bestfriend. “Alyona I need to send you home, the driver is waiting outside, go home now” I didn’t insist to stay in the building and willingly ride to the Sedan. I just need to see my mom now. I arrived in the villa and quickly open the door and run as fast as I can to see my mom. I saw her talking with her maids and preparing my favorite cookies she was shocked when she saw me. I realized I am too early from my class dismissal. “Alyona, did you skipped your class? why are you so early? it’s not 4 in the afternoon yet” My mom is confused and concerned as she getting closer to me. My eagerness to tell her about dad’s affair is very high, but seeing my mom inoccent face making me guilty. I never want to hurt her but she deserves to know it.

“Mom, dad is cheating with aunt Karina” I told her without hesistant. Her reaction is confused and doubtful but her eyes is turning red. “Huh? cheating? what do you mean Alyona? your dad will never do that to me, and your aunt Karina is my bestfriend” Mom answered me in a lower voice. “Mom, I saw them in dad’s office, I filmed them and I even interrupted his board meeting exposing the video”. “Alyona? how did you know this!?” Her voice is cracked and the tears in her eyes are falling down through her cheeks. She looked at me and seeing her in pain is aching my heart. Our eye contact broke when the voice of aunt Karina filled the kitchen. “Amira, Alyona, what’s your news today”. Aunt Karina is smilling when she is getting close to us and slowly fading her smile when she noticed that Mom is looking at her intensely and filled with anger. My mother’s palm touched at auntie Karina’s cheeks that making auntie Karina shocked, it was loud and hard slap making her cheek turns red. Auntie Karina was confused but still touching her cheeks because of pain. “How could you Karina!” mom’s voice was very loud and making her bestfriend to step back. “Amira?! what was that for?!” Auntie Karina asked her and still touching her cheeks. “You filthy woman! you’re a gold digger! why did you cheat with my husband?!” Mom was very angry and her eyes is filled with tears, her fingers and hands are already shaking too. “Amira calm down! I didn’t cheat with Leo!” Auntie Karina insisted. I was triggered to her lies and decided to pull out my phone and showed them the video, auntie Karina was moaning so lour and even begging to my father. “ You’re a liar and a cheater!” I shouted at her. My mom pull me close to her back. “All of these years Karina, you’ve been stabbing me and you are a traitor and a serpent!” mom shouted at her when my dad’s arrived. “Everyone! what mess is this! Alyona you ruined my reputation!” my father was filled with anger and his voice is really loud making me to shiver again. His eyes became red and i know he is very furious. “Leo! how could you do this to us!? I love and trusted you with all my heart but you betrayed me and really with my bestfriend?!” Mom was very mad while shouting at her. “Look hon, it was just a misunderstanding” My dad lowered his voice and hold my mother’s hand. “Starting today, I will never believe you and I will be filing a divorce” I was shocked when I heard it from my mom. “Alyona, packed up your things and will be moving out” my mom commanded me. I left them and rushed to my room, I hurriedly packed up my things inside the two large luggages. My mom knocks at my door to ensure that I’m already prepared, but my father keep telling her not to leave. “Amira, let’s fix this, don’t go, it was just misunderstanding and it is not what you think” my father kneel down in front of her while begging. “Leo, give us space” it was my mom’s last words when we decided to leave the villa.

We arrived the airport and immediately board the plane, due of the connections we’re able to reserve a ticket even in a last minute. I was sitting near the window, the plane is ready to take off and I noticed the city lights underneath. I am now leaving my home.
