The Queen's Secret

632 Words
"Queen Kyra," she thought to herself, "If only that was my true title."  She didn't understand all the hate of the men here in this land.  She didn't really belong here.  She came from far away.  She had came here when she learned there were dragons abiding in the mountains. She loved dragons.  She wanted to see them all.  She was looking for a beautiful one.  She was sent here for that purpose. She didn't know how hard it would be to fulfill that purpose.  The King had no choice but to take her as a prize of battle.  He thought it was what he wanted to do, only it was what she had planned all along. He brought her to the castle and had married her.  In his mind, he was marrying the daughter of his rival.  He kept alert for an attack in retaliation; however, none came.  She always treated him with softness and the people here had saw and grown close to her. When she went out in the courtyard, she was met with women bringing her flowers.  Others came just to hear her voice and see her smile.  While walking she always sang and the children loved to tag along with her.  She loved the people.  The King watched her in the beginning. Later, he would join her in the courtyard. She looked at him, asleep by her bed.  She would not be with him much longer.  She had stayed much longer that she intended to.  The people would still love him after she was gone.  This night was the beginning of the end of her stay here.  The most beautiful dragon was captured by the vampire that she had lured here.  The vampire that had been feeding off of the dragons was the only one she needed.  When he arrived, she put lust in his heart. She had targeted the human side of him.  It had worked, he had been wild with desire.  That desire kept him from feeding off of her.  She let him bite her in passion which increased with each small taste of her blood.  She needed him to give of himself, both vampire and human.  The intensity with which he took her astonished her.  She had to keep control of her own emotions.  She could not unite mentally with him. She held onto him and when she felt the end coming, she watched as her body slowly glowed. She clung to him as they melted together. She saw the glow had taken over her whole body and knew the act had fulfilled what she needed of him.  The glow was the sign of fertilization.  She was now pregnant. She had no further need of him now.  He would not take no for an answer and had hit her.  She made eye contact with him and he somehow understood that he needed to go.  She looked around and saw the mess that was made of herself and her bed.  She screamed and screamed.  She screamed for what she had had to endure and screamed for what she must do.  She let go of all the pain and with each scream she was getting ready for what was to come. She didn't realize that Victor was here until new thoughts came rushing in.  Victor was sending her thoughts. He was trying to calm her. She hadn't given much thought to him until now.  Only someone with magical powers could send thoughts to her.  She couldn't let him mess with her mind.  Tomorrow, she'll think more of Victor and the woman that was with him. She got up and stood in the light of the moon.  The beams caught her nakedness and healed her.  There would be nothing to explain to the King in the morning.
