'So we can eat together.' His last words reverberated in my mind. But I didn't say anything and nod at him. I started to walk across his motorbike and waited for him there.

I was looking at him but his attention was on my helmet. I immediately averted my gaze when he looks at me. I didn't want to meet his gaze because I was afraid he would see how happy I was.
