Her Biker Second chance Mate

Raven's POV Four years later. The Arizona sun was so hot, the soles of my boots were literally melting to the asphalt, but at this moment, all I could feel and think of was that freezing wind from four years ago, right before I brutally snapped that rogue's wrist and took his wallet. I groaned, kicking the starter of my Harley for the two hundredth time, sweat dripping from my face down my breasts, the leather pants were already clinging onto my thighs like second skin. And this goddamn carburetor was making this sputtering, choking pathetic little cough like sounds which I knew meant nothing good. “f**k. Come on, you little piece of junk s**t” I muttered under my breath, slamming my foot into the kickstarter again, hoping for a miracle to happen, at least. “Not. Today” The engine gave this last, pathetic rattling gasp, then went completely and utterly silent. Four whole years. Four years of surviving, running and never looking back to my old pack. But now my bike was dead in the middle of nowhere. On a stretch of Route 68 that looked like it had seen better days back in the 60s. The heat was making everything much worse, if warped the road ahead and literally made everything look like a goddamn fever dream and I was seconds away from passing out. That rogue's disgusting, raspy voice from four years ago made its way back in my memory. ‘look what the Cade pack threw away…get in, Sweetheart’ And the way he smirked, sizing me up from that van as though I already belonged to him. Back then, I hadn't gotten in. Instead, I broke his arm in two places, then spat on his writhing body while he yelled like a total twink and bought my first ever bike with the cash in his wallet. I wasn't that pathetic rejected, scared girl anymore. That girl died the night her father looked her in the eye and handed her mate to her sister. But at this moment, that girl's ghost had come back, laughing at me, dripping sweat and stranded in a dead end desert town I have never heard of. Silver Hollow. A garage was right in front of me and the sign was half rusted, barely readable. But, that was the only building for miles that didn't look completely boarded up, and now, my bike was officially useless. I sighed deeply, then pushed my heavy Harley through the open bay door, fighting to keep it upright. “Hello, anyone?” My voice bounced off the greasy walls. “Is anyone working here? Or do I need to fix this damn Harley myself?” No reply, just the noisy buzz of the light and the strong stench of oil and gasoline so thick I could actually taste it on my tongue. I dropped my Harley carefully and was about to start searching for tools when suddenly, a pair of boots appeared from under a huge custom chopper. Then, a denim covered thighs so thick they were literally straining the fabric and a torso that made my mouth go dry followed next. “f**k” I muttered inaudibly, gulping hard. The mechanic rolled out on a creeper, then wiped his greasy hands with a dirty rag. His arms were covered with dark intricate ink patterns that disappeared up his tank top. And his jaw line…goddess…they were sharp enough to cut glass, his dark hair messy as though he had been running his fingers through it all day. His eyes…storm grey. They locked onto mine like they just found their target. And just then, the mate bond didn't just spark, no, it f*****g exploded. My knees buckled so hard, I had to grab the nearest workbench, but I was already falling and the world began tilting sideways. Everything went hot, like hotter than the sun outside. And between my thighs, this heavy throb began, so aching and intense that I almost moaned out loud. And my wolf…four goddamn years old silence, I thought she was dead and buried in the same grave as my childhood self.. But she came roaring back to life, clawing hard at my ribs, like she was trying to make her way up my throat. Mate! The word hammered so loud in my skull I thought it might explode. Mate. Mate. Mate. MATE! “No. f**k, no” I choked out, shaking my head as I tried to push myself upright. “No. No. No. No” But unfortunately, it was too late. The mechanic was already on his feet and crossed over to me in two huge strides, all that power and muscles flexing and moving at full, terrifying speed that made my heart skip a beat. His eyes weren't storm grey anymore, they had turned this terrifying colour of black, his wolf had completely taken over. I parted my lips to tell him to back the f**k off, but unfortunately, the words never had a chance to get out. His grease stained, calloused hands gripped my hips, his fingers digging so deep I knew it would leave a bruise. He slammed me back, my spine hitting the heavy metal workbench hard enough to make the tools on top rattle. His thick thighs caged me in and he began grinding his hips against mine as though he couldn't stop himself. “Mine” he snarled, burying his face deep into the crook of my neck. I involuntarily arched into him, and at this moment, my body didn't care about the four years walk I had built up. Only cared about his scent and and the way his mouth was already pressing against my skin. “Ah…fuck” I gasped, my eyes rolling back. And for five seconds, I let myself drown. Five seconds of pure mate bliss. His hands on my hips, mouth on my neck and the heavy weight of his hips grinding against mine.. My wolf was whimpering and growling so loud I could hardly hear my own thoughts. But when his scent hit my nostrils once again, my eyes flew open and my brain instantly short circuited. The strong scent of Alpha power everywhere, wrapping around me like a goddamn leash. Another Alpha, another f*****g leash. Another monster who thought I could be controlled. I had sworn four years ago to never let that happen…ever again. “Get…get off me!” I shoved his chest so hard, but he didn't even budge. His grip on me only tightened and something inside of me snapped. My survival mode overriding the arousal, and drowned everything else in pure, feral panic. I gritted my teeth, then broke out of his grip, ignoring my wolf's pained whine. My knees came up, aimed straight at his groin. But unfortunately, he was an Alpha and easily blocked my attack, his hand catching my thigh. So, I twisted. Years of fighting rogues in back alleys had taught me exactly where to hit. I used my weight, swung my fist, and hooked a brutal right cross into his perfectly chiseled jaw. Bone crunched under my knuckles. He stumbled back, catching himself on the chopper, his hand flying to his mouth. When he pulled his palm away, there was blood. His eyes turned back to grey, sharp and dangerous, but there was something else there too. Surprise. “What the f**k is wrong with you?” He wiped his split lip, staring at me like I had lost my mind. I was breathing so hard my chest ached, every muscle tightening. “f**k no. I'm not doing this again. Touch me one more time and I'll break your f*****g fingers.” His jaw tightened. “You're my mate. You don't get to…” “I don't get to what?” I snarled, backing toward the garage door. “I don't get to choose? I don't get to say no? Been there, done that, bought the goddamn t-shirt. And you know what? It ended with me running for my life.” The physical distance between us was pure agony. My chest literally hurt, like someone was ripping my ribs apart from the inside. My wolf was howling in misery, begging me to go back, to let him touch me again. But I'd survived worse. I grabbed my helmet off the workbench and bolted for the open garage door. The Arizona heat was calling my name, promising freedom. I made it halfway to the exit, my boots slapping against the concrete… Then a deafening crash nearly stopped my heart. The heavy steel shutter slammed down over the garage doors, plunging the space into dim, dusty light. I spun around, my heart screaming in my ears. He was standing exactly where I'd left him, a smear of blood still on his lip. He wasn't angry, worse… he was grinning. He hit the remote lock on the concrete wall with a casual flick of his wrist, then tossed the keys straight down into a floor drain. They clattered against the metal grate and disappeared into the darkness below. “You're my mate.” His voice vibrated off the walls, darker and rougher than before. “And absolutely nobody is leaving this room until you admit it.”
