They’ve found her.
It was on the six o’clock national news. I was surprised at that; I thought it’d make the local news but not the national but it seems DCI Munroe has been making quite a name for himself recently, dealing with some high profile cases so I guess that’s why the media consider the loss of his daughter of national interest.
As I expected, the mountain rescue team discovered her. I didn’t think it would take long once they started looking as it was known she was walking up Ben Carrick, even the route she was taking.
The news programme showed photos of Ben Carrick along with a map of the route Lily had walked. I pointed it out to Liliad. ‘Look, that’s where I walked; I told you the scenery was stunning, didn’t I.’
They had a chap from mountain rescue surmising
