As we arrive into town of Hidden Hills I can't help but feel a little nostalgic.
Our town definitely looks like it has been under reconstruction. Our town is based 30 minutes from the city set before a huge beautiful forest. My brother has done an outstanding job with the town I am seriously impressed. I never doubted Haze would be successful, he has our fathers determination and work ethic.
We arrive at our new home for now, it's literally two streets from my fathers house. I purposely wanted to be close to my fathers to keep tabs and i just know he would do the same once he is aware of my arrival. There are so many new houses in this area now and all which my brother owns. I asked my grandfather Elzoro if he could place the house under my alter ego name, Hella.
I use to dread this day, but I have spent ten years preparing and the moment is finally here. The moments that will lead me to our mother's and their stories. I am a little uneasy about seeing my father with the lady who was seen with my father the morning of my mother's disappearance but then again I can just snap her neck and make it look like an accident so I guess the real winner here is me.
We all start taking our belongings inside, although it's dark you can tell the house is beautifully created and designed. The entrance flooded with flowers of all sorts. All with sweet aromas that come with them. There is a beautiful water fountain that sits Infront ox the mansion, it is extraordinary. It matches the bright creams coloured two story mansion.
We all assess the house inside and out, finding access and exit points should there be an emergency. We scout for all the weak access points. We place in our traps because you can never be too careful. We find all those weak spots placing up our cameras and security. Ensuring the safety of myself and my mentors.
"All set Master Gia. All security systems are on. We have two on night watch and one operating security and we have a shift rotation set in place for every four hours." My best mentor Jace says softly
"Thank you Jase, just call me Gia or Gigi. It has been seven years now i am sure we can all drop the formality when it comes to me an my mentors especially as this is a personal mission. I know you are my mentor but until I've officially succeeded I'm just Gia okay? May as well seeing as we will all be living under one roof together for a while. I know it's a little bit different from home but at least it will be easier to maintain. Look at that you just secured our new home in 6 minutes 40 seconds. You are amazing.
Thank you for arranging and seeing the security through. you should all get some rest now we have a big day tomorrow. Good night Jase" I respond.
"It really bas been that long huh, I did not even realize, oh and Happy 20th birthday Gianna. Sweet dreams and may all your wishes come true."
He whispered ever so sweetly before literally disappearing to his room.
How sweet I thought, Jase is my longest mentor. Seven years to be exact. Jase, Lia and I have accomplished so much together, his loyalty is out ranked. He is extremely handsome, 6'1with a big yet slim build. Soft brown hair that falls over his face finalized with a chiselled jaw when unmasked Soft big plump lips that I would devour if I had not chosen to avenge.
Oh my god it is my birthday he just reminded me! The day I have been waiting ten years for is finally here. I make my way into my room counting each step I take. Head filled with thoughts, happy ones and sad ones. Mostly curious thoughts.
Like, even though it has been ten years is this only the beginning of what ever mystery awaits me?
Does she want to be found? then the thoughts of seeing my father start to unsettle me.
How is my father going to act after not seeing me for ten years? I have accomplished so much without him so it doesn't really matter what he thinks but I can not help but feel this way.
On a positive note, I am excited to see my twin Haze and how much he has flourished. I imagine he has taken on major roles and responsibilities as well being the Don. Although it has been years we still keep in contact every time over Although stuck in my thoughts I managed to unpack all of my belongings, arranging them into their new specific places. Liana comes up after doing up her new room, she just as exhausted as me.
"Happy Birthday sister, here's a little something from me to you. Just something to say thank you for looking after me and being the best sister I never had but always wanted. I was going to give this to you later but our lives could change dramatically today, no matter what happens we got each other always."
Liana says as she hands me a small box.
I open it up to find a silver diamond anklet with two diamond rose on it. It was breath taking I was in awe.
"It is our mothers favorite flower, roses, it's absolutely beautiful Liana thank you so much. Tomorrow, anything could happen but just know I will look after each an every one of you. I am honestly a little nervous about how tomorrow will go, not so much about returning home more about what the information is and why it was so important they had to keep it from us for ten years"
I respond in tears of joy
"You're welcome and i know darl, I guess we'll find out tomorrow. Get some rest sister we have an eventful night ahead of us."
I take a quick shower washing off all of today's anxiety and filth, chucking on my lingerie and climb into my king sized bed. Taking in the silk blankets I fell asleep with ease. Happy birthday to us Haze I think before falling in to a deep sleep
