Chapter 19 As my eyes adjusted to the darkened garage, I caught sight of Declan leaning against the driver’s side door of my truck, smoking a cigarette. He took a drag and the tip glowed bright red. The light reflected off chrome to my left, and I noticed a fancy road bike propped against my workbench. There were so many questions rattling through my brain, I didn’t know which one to ask first.
