Chapter 22 The noise was indescribable. The impact caused a knee-jerk reaction that vibrated through my entire body. I’m sure I stopped breathing for a moment. I don’t remember ever being so alone. Even though I’d been brought up on the stories of the departed leaving one body to enter another form, many times eagles, bears, or coyotes to name a few, I never thought of myself as a spiritual person.
