CHAPTER SEVEN: HENRY THE LIFE SAVER

Lara and Bello started to calculate how much they would make from this business and how they would become instant millionaires. "I really cannot wait to cash out, I will first use like fifty percent to buy clothes and shoes just like our dead madam", Lara said while screaming on top of her voice as she was a big drunk. "Real, my sister, you are supposed to be working with the federal government of our country, they need your services so that our country can move to greater heights. Look at us now, about to be millionaires all because of your big brain, if not for your plan that I should pretend like an outsider and an Hausa man, and then come to look for job in that small girl's house, thank God she is dead now, I can at least have my peace and no more Bello come here, are you deaf?", Bello said while laughing mysteriously.Apparently, Lara and Bello are siblings and they both planned together in exploiting their rich madam.

After about forty five minutes, Lara had to call Yala to express her utmost disappointment at his bad timing, but he assured her he would be there anytime soon. Unfortunately and stupidly for Lara and Bello, they drank to stupor and slept off until something dangerous happened.

Ola's happiness was in cloud nine when she saw a human being at last. He was a youth corper, Ola could tell from his uniform. Henry saw this beautiful but stressed young lady who somehow looked like his mother and then decided to welcome her into his apartment. He was appointed to serve his country as a teacher in a village located in a far away State. He welcomed Ola with open arms, gave her something to eat and drink after which she slept for a while. She woke up, freshened up and explained to him how she was kidn*pped by Lara and Bello, her late friend domestic staffs.

"Do not worry, I would sef out tomorrow morning and inform the police and then we find the culprits. I have no idea of doubt that this so called Lara and Bello killed your late friend. I promise you I would help you get to the root of this matter", Henry assured Ola. "Thank you so much", Ola responded as she could not say much because she was so tired.

Henry kept on staring at Ola while she was asleep, she looked so much like his mother. The Police arrived at Henry's apartment and were also very much interested in this case, as a lot of kidnappings and abductions have been said to come most especially from this area. They began their ultimate search and Ola could remember few of the places she marked while running for her dear life the previous day.

They finally got to their destination and saw Lara and Bello lying helplessely on the floor and ripping of alcohol. Few police officers went into the inner room and saw some children and. teenagers whose hands and feet were tied tightly. The Police officers rescued them and took them all away. Crime they say, does not pay as Lara and Bello were about to be dragged to the darkest phase of their entire lives. If only they could turn back the hands of the clock.
