CHAPTER SIX: INVESTIGATION GONE WRONG

Ola noticed something suspicious about Lara's behavior, her spirit did not go well with her but she kept the thought to herself. She decided to find out the reason. She created time out of her very busy schedule to sneak into Amirat's house, one busy Tuesday evening, she knew all about the nook and cranny of her friend's house and sneaked into the sitting room. She wanted to just search round the house to see if she could find anything suspicious. She had already tuned herself and also knew that Lara should have gone home. She went into the Masters bedroom, searched everywhere but found nothing. She also checked the other four rooms thoroughly but didn't find anything. She decided to go downstairs to check the rooms there, but unfortunately for her, on getting there , Lara who had been trailing her from behind hit her head with a long turning stick and she slumped."I warned you to stay off", Lara said as she dragged Ola's body to the booth of the car waiting outside.

Kish called her friend that night but she did not pick the call. Little, did she know that her friend was in danger. Kish hoped everything was well with her friend anywhere she was but also knew that something was off.

Ola could not see anything, she felt her head banging like as if she was hitting it on the wall, she wanted to let out a scream when she heard footsteps and some strange voices, she thought to herself about where she could be as she was blindfolded, she summoned courage and spoke up saying, "Hello there, please where am I? Can you remove the blindfold from my eyes so that I can at least see because everything is dark. Can you help me please?", Ola said almost shedding tears. "No we cannot help you", responded a voice. As a matter of fact, you are going to die here and then your body parts sold to money ritualists", the voice said. "What! Please what have I done to you, please forgive me if I have ever offended you. I am just a young girl with a promising future, don't ruin my life please, I am begging you", Ola said while shedding tears. All she heard was a door slang and she was left alone in the dark room.

Ola began to shed tears profusely, and after about an hour she came to her senses and started to figure out the puzzle but she could hardly remember anything. "Where am I, Lord?", Ola shouted while crying. Something popped into her mind, the voice, she noticed something strange about the voice she heard. She knew that voice somewhere but could not remember where. She tried to figure out where she must have heard this sonorous but mysterious voice from. She began to pray to her God to save her from this mess she has put herself into, but she could not remember anything other than sneaking into her friend's house and after that to her everything just seems blank.

Meanwhile, as Ola was praying, Lara and Bello were busy planning on how to butcher Ola into pieces and move her body parts to the buyer, as she has already been paid for. But there was a delay, Yala, their business partner is not present yet and he is the one to cut Ola into pieces and drive her parts to where it is to be delivered. Yala did not appear until two hours later, and by this time Ola had already found a way to escape. She was running to 'God knows where', as she was in the middle of nowhere. All she could see was bushes everywhere, she was weak and was also bleeding from various parts of her body as she hit a lot of nails from heavy trees while escaping.

She decided to rest for a while and remembered she had her small phone on her and tried to recall Kish's number, she dialed it but it was not going through, she started to cry and prayed to God saying, "Heavenly Father, it has been long I came to you, but I am so sorry, I hope you forgive me and get me out of this mess I have put myself into, God please give me a second chance, God please I beg you". Ola started to cry and also beg God and then after few minutes she continued her journey to nowhere hoping to at least find a human being.

Lara and Bello were so worried as they could not find Ola where they had blind-folded her, they believed she couldn't have gone far and were both rest assured as they already informed Yala to be on the look out for Ola.
