Chapter 23 Strangely, I step out of my tower only to end up back in my tower. I frown, puzzling over what is happening. There are a lot of odd things in the Dreaming, but I’ve never been trapped in my tower before. Trapped. That word sends shivers down my ghostly spine. I was encased in my unmoving body for far too long to ever feel comfortable with the idea of being trapped. I’m about to turn and try to leave my tower again when I notice that the sleeping girl on the bed isn’t me. She has golden hair flowing all around her like a peacock’s tail.
