It’s not real.
I mean, it’s not the real Dreaming that Malyn’s mirror is reflecting. It’s the Waking. I’m sure of it.
It’s a broken, shattered reflection, but I can see Silver speaking to Malyn. I can’t hear what’s being said, but I can see her expression. Silver is cautious, polite, formal.
Not surprising, since she’s talking with the princess of the Kingdom of Midnight. Why is Silver there? And what are they talking about? Is she all right?
I don’t think she’s a prisoner. The conversation doesn’t seem hostile, just tense. After a while, Silver hands Malyn a vial.
Malyn smiles. She looks smug and satisfied, like a cat who managed to eat the prized bird in the gilded cage. Silver, on the other hand, doesn’t look happy but maintains a polite expression.
